Absolutely love these and i never understood why people felt so negative towards the KA except for the rust issues. Was just as negative about it but after i bought one (black, white leather, sun roof the whole thing) i really fell in love with it.. it drives like a cart, cheap and reliable.
It’s a joy to drive but the controversial design, the cramped interior, nasty build quality and old engines available at the release made people unlove it.
I got a 1.3 ford ka from 2006 with LPG it has 265.000km and now the timing chain makes noises and the car stutters while accelerating but it is still drivable and my car has rust on the rocker panels and at the tank nozzle. Besides the Rust problem it is a very reliable car but with high mileage you will need to do the timing chain (the timing chain is a simplex chain normally these had a recommendation to change at 100.000km, so my car lasted a lot longer.)

Properly coz of safety problem such as car crash test. But for me I like the mk1 ford Ka
