Fun fact- Bob's db3+4,4 double low string has the same effect on hit that Leroy's cane has on block! +8 and the opponent goes into the same falling animation.
@Igo Bagas You can get a lot of easy wins with him in T7 since almost no one seems to have any experience fighting him. I guess T7 has attracted a lot of new players who didn't play T6 and Tag 2 that much or at all. Bob was everywhere in those two games online.
Not sure I entirely understand the weakness listed at 5:53. Perhaps the wording is throwing me off here. I think what is trying to be said here is that his wave dash spacing game isn't good/fast enough to be implemented like a Mishima, and his poking game isn't good enough to go up against other poke heavy characters. As a result, he has to use mix ups on poke heavy characters and rush down characters with stronger spacing tools. I could be wrong here though.
As Bob is one of my signature characters along with Shaheen, Paul, Josie (bruce) and Leroy now, I love to use, i was extremely happy with his buffs. All of my characters got really good buffs for season3. Besides Paul, they arent top tier but man, they are reliable and fun.
Actually, she's way more evasive and probably gives him more trouble than most mups. With a hi-level Zaf vs a Bob of same level, the match could go either way.

Ikr? I think it was showing that the bullet, narrowly missing Bob by tearing through the newspaper, startled him to respond. That intro for Bob was always 1 of the most ridiculous in Tekken history to me lmao. If he can detect/dodge bullets, then he should have *zero* trouble with any human opponent in the Iron Fist unless, they're enhanced like the Mishimas, Yoshi or JACK. That kind of speed is on par with DC speedsters lol. That said, he's my 2nd strongest of my subs.
I personally don't feel that lacking an i15 launcher in and of itself can be considered a weakness, provided the character compensates for it. Steve doesn't have one and he's pretty much always been an undeniably top tier character. He has enough tools to make up for it. He's not at all worse off without an i15 launcher Master Raven is another example. Tho she is intentionally designed to have subpar block punishment and that is because she's much better at dancing around the mid-range using her ranged pokes and whiff punishers instead. She's a nimble character that doesn't like duking it out up-close. Further emphasized by the fact that she has a top-tier backdash coupled with a unique crouch dash which overall allows her to dart about the stage and get into optimal spacing with ease. Lacking an i15 launcher isn't so much a direct weakness as it rather is just not her style of play. I understand that majority of the cast does posses this generic tool but I don't think deviating from this norm should instantly be seen as a weakness or flaw. It could just be the flavour of the character. Again provided they have other tools to compensate and its actually feasible for them to implement that alternative style of play (Anna for instance doesn't really compensate, even though on paper she's meant to always be on the aggressive and in the opponent's face).
a lot of characters lack 15f launcher but have a good/decent 16f launcher. Bob fastest normal launcher is 18f and even that launcher is not the best at all so Bob players need to find other ways to get good damage.

So long as its actually viable for the character to play in those different ways and if the reward is justifiable for the amount of work the character has to put in. Just because you can't do something other characters can do or your character has to play the game a bit differently isn't a bad thing in & of itself....but a lot of Tekken players sure act like it is.
