Update I bought this ski and got a deal on it. Thanks for the video. I’m looking to restore this ski and can’t wait to take it out on the water
Great hack with the heat gun!
It looks so prettyyy 👍
Thanks again Anna!
Great video but quick question. How fid you go a out removing the upper seat under the gas dial. Is that bolted on?
She’s a beaut. I’m looking into getting a gti or a gtx so I can take my son out with me. I have a spi right now
Does the oil tank and gas tank come out without removing anything else?
I wonder if a heat gun will work on the black plastic parts of car bumpers
Restoring the same one at the moment.
I am about to start a resto on a 1996 GTI. Will it damage the fiberglass to use a pressure washer on it? It is very dirty and stained. thoughts?
Great restorations! New subscriber! Try marine 31 mildew remover on the handle bars. It works great on my boat seats. Can't guarantee its gonna work, but it's the best stuff I've used. Plenty of reviews on UA-cam for this product too.
Can the hull come apart on these to change motors?
Question, I took my ski to a upholstery shop and they did the piece you really do not show how to remove and put back on the ski. The little piece right below the gas dial that uses plastic screws to put back in. My problem is the piece will not go back in and stay in. What is the shop doing wrong? Yours does not stick out like mine. I am referring to the area that touches the seat. Both sides. Please advise and HELP!!!!
he said hes going to use some megulars LOL
What are some things to look at when purchasing this model? I have one im buying from a neighbor.
Nice job. I just bought one exactly like it. Have you made any videos on how to flush it out with a water hose?
I have not. Sorry.
How does that small front piece of the seat come off and on?
Help I can get the front piece back on??
This looks really nice, you did a great job! Quick question, how did you remove that plastic yellow piece right before 2:48? Does it just pop off?
There are 3 screws underneath that need to be removed. On the XP models you need to remove the access panel first.
@@rebelndirt8830 What is the name of that yellow piece that has the 3 screws? I need to order one.
@@frustrating123 I'm not sure of it's exact name, it's just a piece of trim that looks better than the base and kinda shades the gauges from sun. Good luck ordering one from OEM sources but there are tons of them on e-Bay and the like. SO try searches like cowl trim or gauge cover/visor, things like that.
Where did you buy the seat covers from??
How do I take off the black part in the front?
Oil feed lines get brittle
it,s ugly jetski
Just hating, cause he doesn't have one, that's all.
