depending on what you are sewing, I have opted to use worsted weight yarn in a similar color to sew heads on bodies, and it doesn't even show if you keep the stitches to the inside. makes my day go much better than dealing with the yarn falling apart when sewing.
Fellow MN college gal here! I’ve noticed Joanns and Michaels carry different color selections than the other. If there are identical color names, they’re very different shades. Love your content❤

Listen do not worry about getting Joann Fabrics name wrong. They were stupid for naming it that. Who couldn’t have possibly foreseen people wanting to naturally call it Joann’s? It’d make more sense to name it Joann’s Fabrics. But no they wanted to be clever and now no one gets the name correct. That’s an epic fail on their part. Can you tell this is something I’ve thought extensively about?🤣
