As a fairly rough-and-ready chippy/boatbuilder, who trained as a cabinetmaker, this is as close to looking at a piece of art as I get. The lighting is perfect and warm; the editing smooth and clean; the tools are by and large excellent quality, well-maintained and fit for purpose; your workshop is small but you have spent time in arranging and organising it well; your designs are interesting and well-executed. Although I cook for my family every day and am a good cook, professional chefs are another level - I could do what they do, but don't for wharever practical or financial reasons. I look on your work in the same way; I could, but just don't. But by providing a sort of benchmark, you are giving me lots to think about and aim for. Thank you, and Feliz Natal.
Thank you for such beautiful words Chris! I haven't yet achieves what I have in mind for the workshop organisation but I'm getting close :) Merry christmas for you too!
I've been following you a long time now, and without a doubt I can say this was one of the best videos of one of the best projects you have ever done.
THANK YOU.
Same here. Sometimes I actually getting emotional by thinking how talented and hard working woman she is. This little body, so talented in her skills. She should get famous one day!
Thank you so much!
I really enjoy to see you working with all those special tools. But the best part is the passion you put over your projects... I wish I were half talented as you!!!
Congrats.
talent is a *myth* , and having lots of tools is highly overrated. lol, someone can possess all the best tools, and not do shit because of laziness/excuses/whatever, or alternatively they can have just the basics, all hand+love-powered versions, and create amazing, useful, beautiful works (any amish dude with a good hammer and a couple saws and chisels and files can make a dope barn that'll stand for 100 years strong as stone). peace!
:) I'm sure that if you get into something, it will turn out better than you expected!
@@GetHandsDirty oh, sure!!!
But there are people like you with those gifted hands.
Keep you sharing your videos please. You are so nice.
Cheers.
This has become my favorite channel. I just love learning about new ways of doing things, like using tape on leveling blocks. This table design gives me inspiration for making an office desk of some kind that extends into a craft table. Thank you, once again, Cristiana. You are the absolute best!
I recently rewatched the older sofa bed video and it sparked my interest back up. I love your style and flair! the editing style is so cool I love all the noises and camera angles
So good to hear that, thanks!
Love your videos for their quality in editing and lighting and your voice overs are spot on. BUT, the big thing is your quality of design and workmanship. Thank you.
Thank you so much Clyde!
following you for several years now. on and off. you level of professionalism is just growing. craft and video wise.
You are so gifted! Everything that you are doing is beautiful. From your builds to your editing and your person. Great job. I look forward to all the videos you make.
Those channels would be less work with a big milling machine. However your designs have moved on so far in the last two years. I'm deeply impressed.
This gal is a rockstar of the woodworking! Great video!
‘And forever is too long for me’ so true. Again a great piece cris! Very very accurate!
Excellent sound design. I love that you knew your viewers would enjoy the sound of wood shavings in your hands!
Your tools are amazing. Your joy in scrunching the excess from the plane is enviable. Oh, your work is wonderful.
After a year of watching her videos and other channels, I have finally managed to start my own. Thank you for your inspiration.
You are best advertiser of tools and materials
I think that the reveal line was a really good idea! Nice work Cristiana!
How i wish i am this cool. I assist my dad with house repairs and small furniture builds but never grinding or using the saw. You are inspiring. Please do not stop.
Wow. The table is so nice! I love the minimalistic separation between the tabletop and the legs.
Yes it is a gorgeous detail on this table. Also known as a shadow gap.
The smoothing router bit is amazing! A lovely job building the table also.
Beautiful table. The decorative rabbet is amazing in how a detail makes all the difference.
You are an inspiration to us newbies on woodworking. Keep building!
Thank you for sharing link to parts used! That finally concludes a several hours long Google search.
This table is just extraordinary, a real work of artist 👍👍😊😊
Been watching your videos since 2 years ago. Still baffles me why you only have 500K subs. You deserve a million at least. I really love your work in this
The table is exactly what I want. You are such a professional.
I'm so a fan of your projects after watching ONE video. You are so skilled. Congrats!!!
That may have been my favorite so far! First, the shavings. Then, you refused to be daunted and did not compromise. Only you would spend hours grinding metal to your will. You are a "Beast"! (That's a compliment in America). Impressive! Then you used your "Magical Air" hammer! SO COOL! I think it's time for dinner. I'm getting light headed.
you're a master of your craft, the actual construction process, the filming, editing, audio - it's amazing from start to finish :D
Have to say I am quite jealous of the high quality, new equipment!! Makes for much easier work. Nice!!
Hi Cristiana, for those "table top connectors" you can order them in every metal (laser) cutting company or workshop, just send drawing or dimensional sketch. I hope you have some like this near by. As you are creative person, you can design those parts according your project, not the project to the part.
For the U-shape metal tracks, I'll recommend also to check with the same workshop if they have bending equipment. This parts can be easily fabricated without filling your workshop with metal particles. Some kind of coating is recommended (paint, zinc etc.) because rust will appear after some time.
Thumbs up. Great work.
This table is pure art!
I'm going to make one, only taller legs and with up-lighting, as a standing inspection bench. That's expandable. You're a genius!
Her work is so meticulous and precise 😭 I love it
Very smart, turning the jointer problem on its side! Thank you for that!
A Living Female Legend of Ultimate Craftsmanship! Love, Respects and Regards.
You`re creating so cool furniture, your videos inspire me to develop furniture by myself as it hard to find on market everything that fully correspond to my needs and preferences. Thank you.
I just can't deal with how amazing works you make! Amazing, mind blowing
Thanks a lot!
Great work mate. Cool.
this is fantastic. I think this channel is not valued enough. creativity and perfection at its best. And if you knew how difficult it is to find tools and / or wood in Portugal ... Congratulations!
Fantastic work. Beautiful work. Your shop has grown as well. Bravo. Amazing journey to watch. Thank you for sharing your skills.
I've been watching your videos and I think you are very talented, keep up the great works. I'm a part time woodworker and It inspires me to continue and find time to make things. Thank you.
Christiana, I'm coming into this a bit late, but you might still see it. A suggestion for your router-planer: Instead of holding the piece down with hot glue, make the sled a bit wider (just an inch or so) and use wedges driven between the rail and edge of the piece to hold it down. To use the same sled on a smaller piece, fill most of the gap with scrap plywood or MDF, then wedges.
Otherwise, you do awesome work. Thanks!
You can easily import the extenders from one of the Chinese wholesalers. The US companies most probably got them from China as well.
I just got married a year ago and we're about to have our first apartment. You channel fuels me with ideas on how to make my space efficient! Kudos!
Wow!!! You are really amazing! You do great work from great ideas!!! Very resourceful, thank you!
That's a beautiful table and gave me some new ideas for my next project.
You make it look so easy, You're Roger Federer of Woodworking!
I love this table and your technique, I will continue to watch your channel !!!!
as always, shop very clean and organized.
Really love the decorative rabbet; such a nice, but subtle touch!
Gracias! Pasión por los detalles, de verdad que los hombres deben llorar de envidia cuando ven tu perfección!
I'm not a woodworker by any means, but I really enjoy your videos! I love watching you work and make these beautiful pieces of furniture, and you have a lovely way of talking in the audio that's just very pleasant to listen to. I wish I could make pieces like this, but I've got very bad vision, so I think it would be too dangerous. You're amazing, though, and I'm so glad I at least get to watch you work!
Awesome.A good project after a long time
Wonderful as usual. We missed you on UA-cam
Cool, wish I had half of the tools you have. Keep it up, you are very talented.
This is my dream life!! Love all of your work!
@11:21. Thanks! You didn't have to do that but I'm so glad that you did! I was curious about the texture and you showed me. That was great! Like bubble-wrap! Soothing. Sorry, can't blame lock-down for this, I'm just weird! Lol!
you are always amaze me with your project
Fantastic work and video making.
Wow men! I love all your videos!! Keep it up!
Tremendous effort results .....wow
My friend!!! Es un deleite ver como trabajas.... Eres una artista con la madera...Muchas gracias por compartir!!!!
Found this in a search for an extended table I could build. I subscribed because your content was excellent. I’m very jealous of your shop, I have to use a garage that is equipped for auto maintenance,. I might not have all of the advanced equipment, but I can still use some of your techniques still in my makeshift wood shop.
Special thanks to Fraiser Tools, Rockler and all my Patreon Supporters who always believe in me!

Love your projects and videoes. Thid table is awesome! Love the music too!
Oh gosh I like you and all your projects!! Thanks for your videos
Amazing content and just inspiring as always. Watching your channel has given me the push to create my own woodworking projects. Thank you.
That's awesome to hear! Go go :)
Awesome project as always! One tip for removing hot glue from any surface including wood: use 99% IPA ( aka isoprpyl alcohol). just dab a few drops onto the hot glue, wait for 20 seconds or so and the hot glue will loosen so the point where you can just peel it off in one piece. It´s really quick and just costs about 8€ per liter
Interesting! I actually have about 2 litters inside my resin 3D printer cleaning device. :D Will try the trick in the future!
So excited you’ve put up a new video.
(I walked down those steps in Porto when I visited in June ❤️)
Nice! :)
Beautiful work
Nice job and well presented. Thank you for sharing.
Really nice build as usual Cris. Thanks for sharing.
about the grinding
there are grinding disks - which you probably know - and also grinding stones. the stones are like super thick disks (around 5 to 7cm thick) and you can set them flat on the metal making it much easier to make flat metal surfaces. they are mostly used for grinding railroad welds where the accuracy needs to be in the 0.2mm (not 0.2cm, actual 0.2mm)
also always use drilling oil or even water mix when drilling metal. your bits will thank you
Beautiful and elegant project!
Superb build - really good. I came across your channel by accident and subscribed immediately - your skills are amazing and your vids a joy to watch. Gonna spend a few happy hours now, watching you build things.
Whenever you have maple boards you want to get rid off. I'm open to get them all. Hard maple is my fav wood, i just love the color of it. Hahaha being honest i just recently found your channel and dang you are very creative and talented. Thank you for sharing it with us. Hugs from apeldoorn

It's not only the woodwork, which is absolutely great as always, also the camera work is fantastic!
