@@nagaewaste you apparently dropped out all three of the metals here!So the best course of action here would be just using or ordering an XRF analysis of your sample that will determine it's precise composition! So unless somehow you didn't completely eliminate all the base metals than the approximate amount of PGMs from one kilogram of material usually ends up being 1,15 grams of platinum;0,35 grams of palladium and 0,135 grams of rhodium! If your material had been somewhat more or less rich in PGM content than that then you will still end up with the same ratios between the three and if it will turn out to be different than you lost some metal in process or had some of it just remain unleached from the material!
Accumulate and safely store the platinum group powder, then separate the palladium and rhodium, a couple ounces of powder and it's worth the extra time and chemicals. You also may get osmo-iridium, which is very difficult to refine into metal, so just accumulate and sell to a refiner. Thanks, simple and clear video, pleasant music.
@@johnhayes8557 never seen any osmium or iridium in cats:only Pt,Pd and Rh!The only thing in everyday life that actually does contain iridium in quantity that is worth recovery is in spark plugs! And those contain either 0,01(simple iridium plugs) or 0,02 grams (double iridium) per single plug!Usually about 90% pure!
Please tell me if i can get complete rhodium if i do this way. ❤❤❤😢😢😢

In 4.08, why did you put aluminum into it to precipitate palladium or aluminum to precipitate platinum?
How many hours do we wait after pouring nitric acid?
Interesting video but I still don't know what to do with the 3kg of crushed DPF and CAT I have from work.

How many kg of catalytic converter?
dear sir you add the sum which white powder before aluminium
Urea
Well done sir, you got 3.6 g of pgm metals
So what is the weight of each metal of platinum, palladium and rodhium??
I didn't recover other metals . Thank you

Hello, how are you? How much sodium hydroxide should be added for a 300 ml or 400 ml platinum solution? How many ml?
It's also have palladium and rhodium

Very little in retail consumer parts, but industrial, military, aviation a different story.
@@johnsheppard1476sir have you refined the PGMs from plugs?
r u use almunium?
Yes.. I used aluminum to precipitate platinum
@Dumitru Bojan yes..
What needs to make
I used aluminium sheet only, no other chemicals required.
Hey buddy really nice video😍
Thanks
