I test drove this the other day and then immediately after took out the very last version of the previous Partner (2018). The previous one is really not that much different from vans from about 10 years ago. But the new one is so much more modern, comfortable and refined. What I like is that the new Partner has the full steel bulkhead but still retains the hatch for longer items. The older one has a mesh bulkhead which, while still practical, lets noise and dust into the cabin. The handling is also much, MUCH better on the new van. Peugeot have really thought this one through. The extra seat is a great bonus and the fact it looks cool too is just the icing on the cake! As a van is my only vehicle I'm trying to justify spending more on the newer one which, at the end of the day, will carry the exact same amount of kit as the old one! TBH wish I hadn't driven it...because now I want it!!!

Thanks Tom, really appreciate the comparison comments. Haven't driven the older model so to hear how much it's improved is great. Thanks again.

Really a fabulous van and i'd like one as a 'do it all' vehicle, just not sure about the lack of window in the back.. don't like not being able to see what's going on behind me especially if parked up somewhere. Could be a bit weird reversing with only a camera too..

Thanks for watching and comments mate. You get used to the lack of windows quite easily but you can also get them added quite simply too. It navigates the town well and is so very adaptable

Hi Nathan, thanks for the review mate. One question are you sure about blind spot alert been available in NZ? I ask because in Australia it's not, but we do have a rear view mirror which makes as much sense.

Hi Adam, thanks for watching and comments. Yep here in NZ both the long and SWB have blind spot monitoring as standard

25th June, 2024, Hello Adam, Great news for Australia, is that Peugeot Aust' now has an updated Partner coming soon which addresses your (and mine) concern about blind spot alert and has a digital rear view mirror. If you have a look at the their website there is pricing, information, and a specification sheet about it. The update has; Blind Spot Detection, Digital rear view mirror and lateral side view, Front & rear parking sensors, Configurable 10” digital driving cockpit, 180° colour reversing camera with top down view, 10” High Definition capacitive central touch-screen, and many other features. It appears to be a great step up from the current model regarding technology for safer driving and awareness of others. The front grill area has also been updated. Cheers.

Think you meant the L2 is an extra 350mm not 35mm 😂
