good soild info i love how you dug into the depression of this situation and how staying active will continue to get out of it. apply yourself :). ty i just got the dji air 2
Thank you for the inspiration! I'm personally semi retired and have been thinking about doing something like this for a couple of years. I was thinking of it for farming because we had an issue with a fertilizer co op that misapplied fertilizer. One of the nozzles was clogged, making the fields striped. Since you pay for the square footage of the field, unless you caught the issue, you'd be paying for something you didn't get. Long story short, thank you again.
You are an inspiration to the drone community.
Just started flying, had my 1st flight with my new drone yesterday.
Keep up the good work, you deserve the success.

Thanks for the advice! Here in Canada I’ve gotten my advanced (similar to the part 107 in the USA) I’m a laid of AME finishing my apprenticeship, but that’s been paused cause of COVID. I’m trying to get into offering aerial work with my mavic 2 pro. I guess I’ll see where it goes, drones pretty much have physical distancing in place so that helps 😁
Coming across this over here in Kansas City looking into this pretty heavily. Appreciate the motivation and tips! Great stuff.
Salamat pare !! Very helpful .. GOD BLESS
All good information. As a hobbyist, I have been fortunate to be able to fly from my house all around the neighborhood any time the weather permits. But, the Texas state wide lock down ends tomorrow, and it will not be extended, so I will again be able to travel and do drone videos of more interesting places. Thanks for sharing this vlog with us. Stay ssfe out there.
Great video as always. We’ve still been doing a good bit of construction work still but we’re always trying to find realtors as well. In our part of AZ a lot of the realtors want low ball prices.
Good to see you Devil Dog. Stay safe and thank you for the info!
Hey Dude! Thanks for the props. I’m an RN in New Jersey and it hasn’t been easy. But it’s our job and we do it. Thank you for your service as well SEMPER FI (my dad was career USMC-Korean War).
Anyhow, thanks for the inspiration. I’m a new Drone Pilot and I appreciate perspectives you’re laying down for us. Look forward to more of your content. Keep it coming and be safe. Peace!
Keep bringing out your best! Thanks for being inspirational!
Just received my Part 107 and I have been looking at the same market. Appreciate the info and I’m looking forward to using your advice to get started!
Thanks for the video. Waiting on my MA2 to arrive this week going to get my part 107 as soon as testing facilities open up . Your video actually gave me some ideas on how to go about starting my drone business. Thank you
My pleasure! Thanks for watching and let me know how the biz goes!!!
Best info on the industry i have seen all day. Thanks!
Great video as always! Curious, for when you just go to a listing that doesn't have aerial video, do you have a recommendation for what type of shots to take? I am super new to all of this and trying to learn, so any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, and keep up the great work! I also messaged you on Facebook, hope that is OK. Feel free to call me out and say don't do that. I don't want to cross any lines but trying to learn from people I respect!
I love your videos and as usual great content. Thank you and keep up the great work
Love the TATS!!!!
Good stuff man. A fellow Filipino here from Texas also doing part time for DroneBase. You deserve more subscribers! Salamat and ingat lagi 😀
Great vid. I haven't got the 107 yet but considering it. Is it difficult? Also, where do you start on pricing? Keep working man!
Great vid, glad to see more of your stuff.
Great insight on the real estate biz.
I wish Litchi, Pix4D and the like would work with Autel. They make some great stuff. Heck, the Mavic Air 2 is basically a Evo 1 with less obstacle avoidance but with occusync. I love my Evo 1 way, way better than the Mavic Pro I sold for it.
Nice video
Nice Man!
Thanks!
Great information! I'm recently disabled. Do you think you could do a video going over the fundamentals of learning to fly a drone professionally?
Great video!
Thanks for watching!!!
At this point in time I am going to take your advice and start taking pictures of homes and sending them to realtors with a water mark. If a home is on the market as foreclosed/up for auction would you bother taking a drone shot and sending it to the realtor?
Not for Foreclosures, Auctions or Short Sales because the Realtor typically doesn’t have a budget to sell these homes since they’re working with the bank. You could maybe reach out to shoot some of them for free to get in with an agent and build your portfolio.
AeroEyez I hear you. I noticed some of the foreclosure are on the market a really long time and finding the contact of the agent is not as visible as a direct sale. I am setting up a short letter to a commercial realtor to illustrate the value of giving a prospect buyer the full view of the property In question. Have to stand out and give appeal
To what I am presenting.
Be the first to do (drone) first amendment auditing.
Eyes and cameras cannot trespass ?
Check out (first amendment auditing), on youtube.
as usual... great vid
not doing anything else - might as well look into this..............
0:20 Thumbs up for some humility. You can be great a leader in an industry and still be humble.
still pushing forward, just did a promo vid, go check it out
What range of price do you charge for residential Ariel footage?
RobertB37 varies by square footage but typically anywhere from $295 - $1200
Yo you still Rockin with Dronebase?
Every now and then I’ll get an assignment that’s worth while. Last one I did was $120 and it took me 20 mins total from the time I shut my engine off to driving away. Maybe 12 mins flight time.
@@Aeroeyez Thanks bro i live in tampa and i will start with dronebase because i have 5 Brand New DJI drones i brought to get ready to make a side income so as soon as i finish my course i will sign up. Real Estate is dope in florida so hope this works.
what subscription level do you have for Pix4D? I'm trying to approximate monthly overhead on a drone business.
I just have Pix4Dcapture which is free. My clients subscribe to Pix4D and they pay to have the images processed, I just capture it.
