HI - as I got some comments on the sound. I just checked and cant find anything. Phone, Laptop, Tablet - with or without earphones. I use the same good quality mic for the last 50 videos or so. So if someone can specify a bit more so I can see what I can do. Thanks.

Hi Achim the left audio channel dropped out or went muffled at about 0:39 into this video, the right channel was still ok. Maybe the audio jack connector was not making a good contact?

I just watched the video on an ipad without headphones. Sounds fine to me.

I've had my double ender repeatedly unclip from my finger spool and small smb, usually when entering from a boat. The spool creates an automatic descent line. Pretty embarrassing. Must be my rigging of it. My cold water wetsuit has a thigh pocket to solve this but in warm water I clip off. I knot off my line every 10ft/3m for simple gradient stops. Wondering if you do that.

Come on, if your partner has enough room to cut your reel free, he can also unclip the double ender. The line you use to tie the bolt snap also breaks with time and people generally suck at tying knots. One of my buddies uses the fixed bolt snap and it's always catching line. Double ender is the way to go!

Love the bolt snap big enough to run a finger through that attaching point so that you can control the snap when opening and closing it

Great information, but the volume was too low and muffled.

1:13 The greatest way to unclip your double ender from reel or spool.
Great advice, I always opened it by pushing the lever, this trick is mind blowing (Maybe common knowledge for tec divers)

If you can unclip your double ender from your reel by pushing the lever against the handle of the reel it means your double ender is clipped on the wrong way

@@flymol0 That is correct, I watched the video till the end ;)
But when I want to unclip something often and fast (like a reel floating at different heights) thats a great way.

Please, fix the sound, one channel is totally muffled and its volume is almost zero…

Not the best way at all. You need to detach the bold snap, otherwise not only when scootering it gets into the line all the time. Best is to do a small line loop and attach a double-ender to it.

Thanks Michael. I keep hearing that but never had this. I would say this is more a problem of positioning and line management. In fact I no not want the reel without a Clip as it simplifies thingsvwhen I need to clip it and the boltsnap is right there. But good to see alternatives. Thanka for that.

It's what I've been taught as well. I will try it with the fixed boltsnap while wrapping the line :-)
