I was not rooting for Bavarians, but seeing successful cavalry attack by AI was refreshing! (considering the tendency of AI cav to prioritize squares it feels good for gameplay purposes that they sometimes can break them)
Yes, if you take into account that AI does suicidal charges into your lines and that he never uses the square ability against player's cav, i made infantry much weaker against cav in both, line and square formations so AI's cav could be useful, cause until now i felt that all cav units from ai were useless units in a battle and this was a huge advantage for the player. If you take into account the bonuses i gave to AI's units in firing and morale and that now never charges into melee, i promise that you will lose some sort of battles ( if you dont focus your battle plan in using canister artilley, nevertheless that canister range is going to be extremely reduced in this week update, to ensure that the player doesnt have this advantage as well). Cheers
It's the same in the LME4 mod cavalry is far more affective against line infantry + virtually powerless against guards when charging frontally (which is a bad idea in any case) I do belive that this mod makes the squares less formidable than they historically were but it's a new way of fighting I guess. Lancers on the flanks are always nice to help
Hey mate. Just a couple questions on the preferences file. Did you change the campaign unit scale up to 1.25 for Napoleonic Era Chapters like you did with the Poland playthrough for ETW2? Or did you keep it as the default scale? Just trying to gauge whether I should do this along with having 40 units. Also did you find you were having issues with stability while using the larger unit size or did everything run smoothly? Keep up the great work mate, cheers.
I didn't change the unit sizes. These are the standard ones. As for stability it's hard to gauge. Since I started the campaign with the wrong loading order.
A lot of the nations close to me are small and started with very small armies. I also was very aggressive against Spain and forced them to surrender after two battles. It's going to get a lot harder when I face Austria, Prussia and Russia. The British invasion hasn't started either.

@@RedHornet-oy5ow , keep up the good work! I really feel like trying the mod myself!
Really liking this mod, would love to see you do a Russian or Ottoman run eventually.

Yes, cavalry is a lot more powerful.
@@LordJohnHD I might suggest in future battles to aim artillery manually and not to target units because it will also increase accuracy. 😉

@@LordJohnHD easy as. I'll play around with it and see how it goes. Cheers
@@LordJohnHDOne thing I suggested in the mod’s discord was to have their own mod launcher to load stuff. LME had that I believe.
Lord John, can I install this mod with having darth mod install
Hi, great vidéo.
In my game i have sometimes problems, there is no sounds muskets. In your game it is ok, do you have an idea about what to do?
Check your sound settings. They have a tendency to reset to a lower level.
Tbh if im looking at the campaign for a campaign in 1815 as france is easy when it should be impossible
