19:00 - Fun fact - Oczy never meant to publish his book, so this line about giving 10% to Potocki must have been added by Badeni after the fact. It just cements how much Badeni really changed, from wanting all the credit himself and telling Oczy he's not going to give any of the proceeds to Potocki, to leaving a note at the end for just that...just an absolute GOAT of a man.
6:17 her saying that is similar to "Why should I mourn when he's in a better place now, Heaven" for some people. And also yeah it's fine to be sad for missing someone but she just using that line as the 'reason' she cried when it simply just because she doesn't want to cry in front of other people.
I won't call her naive, she was too trusting of her uncle though. You can't really blame as he has been there for her since she was little. The uncle betrayed her trust.
@kaiblade760 not naive in that sense. Naive in her worldview, thinking money will give her peace of mind. She is smart, but as most young people, lacks life experiences to have a more holistic worldview.
Rafal's father betrayed him and I was angry at him but understood why, he wanted to save himself, but didn't think Rafal would actually face consequences, he fully expected for Rafal to recant... This motherF****er on the other hand, holy ... he pissed me off so hard, just how much of a roach can this person be?
18:14 Agreed. I find it weird that she came to the conclusion that people have been believing in god because they're afraid. Of course, she might be that type of person (perhaps a cynic?) who would come to that conclusion. And although her reasoning doesn't sound so strange in modern day, I think it would be strange for a 15th-16th century person like her to think like that. Fear is certainly *a* factor for some people but it's not *the* factor, I would I think.
@ I'm not confident that it's the main factor. But if it is, then I'm still skeptical that Draka would come to that conclusion. Although, I admit it would make sense for her to think like that given her background.
@ Anxious/unease does seem to make more sense. Yet, I'm still skeptical that the main character would come to that conclusion. Anyways, thank you for the information.
Fear of death is immeasurable, a lot of people believe in some sort of an afterlife specifically to avoid the fear of death, even if they're not religious or they're not part of a specific organized religion, people will make up afterlives for themselves, because facing oblivion is scary.
Gigguk was challenged amd sponsored by Bushiroad watching "Bang Dream It's MyGO!!!!!" at his stream, and he said it is as good as Girls Band Cry which can make it to 2023 top 10 anime. Will you try to give it a go?

She is great, althought a bit naive. And the uncle is the biggest piece of sh*t. He went from good side to bad side of the story XD

@@Dan_Jado I agree. Her goal is driven by grief over her father's death, she believes by having enough money she would get closure. It's sad.

It's a main factor. If you think deeply about it, people tend to believe in God out of fear of something
I am a Japanese speaker. In the original language, she didn't say "afraid / fear", she said "不安 (anxious / unease)".
