I am from India. Thank you mam. After watching not less than 20 videos, really I found this one to be the simplest and made my knowledge more clear. Thank you once again.
Good video. By the way, a good example of a continental-continental divergent boundary would be Death Valley. Even though it's not at a plate boundary, it is affected by the San Andreas in a way that causes the same phenomenon.
Thank you ma'am! You saved me. And thanks for the examples like the Philippines Now ik it's oceanic-oceanic. * I'm on my homeatudies for this year, thank u so muchh -From Philippines
i will like to contradict your idea on ocean-ocean convergence. i think the one that subducts is the faster moving plate not the denser one. they both are having the same density. please can you please answer this: give two examples of oceanic plates that converge.
A lot of oceanic-oceanic convergent boundaries can actually be observed in SE Asia and Australia, such as the boundary the Philippine Sea plate and the Eurasian plate and the boundary between the Mariana plate and the Pacific plate. Also, they would not have the same density as the older oceanic crust would have been cooler, and thus become more dense. Which is why most of the time the older crust gets subducted.
Explain the process of plate boundaries Understand the different process of plate boundaries Make an illustration or model of the different process along plate boundaries.
This Video was SOOOOO helpful! Thanks to you I got a perfect 15/15 on my pt 🥰 thank you very much! I wish you the best!

HI JENNIFER , THANKU FOR THIS VIDEO, I LEARN A LOT
Can you please explain- why the offset of the MOR in case of a transform fault is opposite to the direction of fault movement ?
Thanks for your video it helped me a lot
excellent video, simplified and organised thank you
simple english..... great..... best of the best
This was very helpful, thank you!
So most of the transform faults are found in the ocean basin ? How is it different from strike-slip one ?
This video was really helpful ❤

Thank you for the helpful video :)
Mam what about Ocean - Continent in transform plate boundary????
Same active earthquake????
Wonderful explanation, thanks
Which of the 3 plate boundaries which can create the strongest earthquakes?
very good and clear! but why the oceanic subduction cause ever a curved line and not, for example, a straight line?
Jennifer Lewis thank you for your answer...and for the videos!
That was a good class..love from india
