I don’t know why they lie about using backing tracks. They use backing tracks, everyone can see it. Theres sound guys who have said that bands are using backing tracks on parts that are fully capable of being played live by the instruments and players l/singers on stage barring certain situations where they just don’t have enough players to do the part.

What Motley Crue are doing is not using not backing tracks, that's straight up playback. Backing tracks are some additional parts, like backing vocals, synths ect. Not your main part.
Why is every artist merch, artist guitars, amps and pedals so expensive??? Except for S by Solar guitars. no beginner can buy a 2k guitar or a 4k amp when they are 14-15years old. Or if ur from a poor country. Seems like all they do is target their 1% of fanbase thats loaded and just make "Limited editions" so they can drive the price up and just make a few sales and they're done.

As much as I'd love to believe his debunk, I'm sorry but I don't see it. And I don't get it either, because he IS a crazy good guitarist. I think what we were hearing was the backing tracks for the rest of the band. My band, uses backing tracks, because we can't find a rhythm guitarist that can keep up (it's sad, I know, I'd MUCH rather have someone good playing with us.) and for extra layers that we couldn't possibly do live, without hiring several more musicians for that ONE part of that ONE song. But those were some pretty hard chords for legato, and they rhythm and sound of what he did in his video did not at all match what we saw in the video. sorry John5, maybe don't tour with awful 'musicians' and you won't have this problem?

I'll wager you will get a LOT of people interested in those new guitars, and start requesting more of them. The thing that has kept me (and some others I know) from grabbing a Solar guitar is that reverse, or to you, normal headstalk. I keep hearing and reading great stuff about Solar guitars, but to many, the reverse headstalk is a pain to tune, and I'm not big on the way they look. I know that is a personal preference, and probably has no effect on how the guitar plays or sounds. But it is a thing to quite a few of us. You now have my interest again on those. JMHO.
I mean, isn't it normal for bands to use backing tracks live? Especially when it's a single guitarist and on the recording there is multiple tracks for guitars? The band wants to ensure the audience gets the full recording experience live, so they use backing tracks alongside the live performance no? I've seen multiple bands talk about this and they have no problem using backing tracks, why should we? I just saw decapitated, septicflesh and kataklysm live in May and at least decapitated and septicflesh used backing tracks - naturally, because decapitated is just vogg as a guitarist, and septicflesh has a shit ton of orchestral stuff going on, so of course they use backing tracks.

The new JP2C combo has no design changes other than they shoved the head unit into a combo package. Doug Doppler did an interview with John and Maddi about it. Still has the turd bird version of the cab clone in it. Wish they would just delete that from the head, then I might consider refinancing my house to get one.

The new JP2C combo has no design changes other than they shoved the head unit into a combo package. Doug Doppler did an interview with John and Maddi about it. Still has the turd bird version of the cab clone in it. Wish they would just delete that from the head, then I might consider refinancing my house to get one.

Definately John 5 uses backing track, if You look closer he did not move left hand live as he tried to bury IT in his video explain ... What a same for that kind of artist
