Saatva offers three types of mattress topper. You can choose from the Saatva latex mattress topper, high density memory foam topper, or graphite infused memory foam topper. Being a side sleeper and hot sleeper, I chose the graphite infused model.
The mattress topper is 3” tall and contains two foam layers. The top layer is very soft while the bottom layer is a bit firmer and acts as a transition layer.
The Saatva should be a great mattress topper for back sleepers. The soft memory foam conforms to the curves of your body while the transition layer doesn’t let your hips sink in too far.

Hi Martin I love your reviews! I'll be moving to college soon. My mattress I will be sleeping on has a dimension of 78" L x 31"W and is very firm. I am a slide sleeper and am interested in the Saatva Matress topper which has a dimension of 75"L x 38"W. Is the 7" width disparity something I should avoid?? I am having trouble finding a topper that fits the dimensions of my mattress. Thank you!
I hve a plush pillowtop c class beautyrest, would you not advise putting this on a plush mattress pillowtop, i dont have as much pressure relief on my side sleeping shoulders.

I need help finding the right topper. I own a Loom and Leaf Firm bed, and it's beyond 180 days, so I'm out of the trial. But it is WAY to hard. I mostly wake up with headaches. I'm trying to figure out if I want to buy the Saatva graphite topper, but I'm afraid it might be too contouring for my like. Have you reviewed their 1.5 inch latex or 1.5 memory firm yet? I'm mostly a side sleeper, medium weight, but I really toss and turn on this bed as it stands now. I'm willing to try the Layla or Avocado, but just curious what you think is the best bet.

Would love your advice - I’m trying to figure out what would be the best mattress topper. I’m mostly a side sleeper and weigh 125 lbs. I’m getting hip pain sleeping on my Sterns and Foster firm mattress. I would probably rate the firmness an 8 out of 10. I’m not a huge fan of memory foam BUT I’m willing to give it a shot. I want to stay away from a topper that I sink into or makes me hot. Please let me know what you suggest.
I would consider the Tuft and Needle. You will sink in a bit, but you won't get stuck. Also, it sleeps quite cool.
Can you please offer your opinion on the 1.5 inch memory foam topper?

Had to self quarantine bc of covid19. Desperately need a mattress topper for my downstairs. I'm a 290lb side and stomach sleeper. Looking to wake up without shoulder or back pain since I'll be quarantined for several more days. Narrowed it down to the saatva, layla, lucid, and my pillow topper. Also saw a 2 in one topper that seemed interesting. Can U just recommend the absolute best one that you think will work for me. Much appreciated!!!
Hello! Since you sleep on both your stomach and side, I would check out the Saatva which worked for me in both positions.
Hiya! Do you have an estimate on how many years you think this graphite topper would last? I'm debating between this and the Avocado mattress topper. I'm a 130lb side sleeper mainly. My firm mattress has lead to hip pain causing me to toss and turn onto my back and stomach. I wish I had found your channel prior to buying my mattress!
Hey! I would say the latex topper is going to last longer than the Saatva topper. I would say the Saatva would last for at least five years? That's just an estimate though! Also, for side sleeping, I do prefer the Saatva between these two. However, since you are much lighter than me, you should feel better pressure relief than I did when side sleeping on the Avocado.

My mattress encasement protector fit over all of it -- the Saatva luxury firm mattress and the graphite topper. But it JUST fit. I'm concerned the topper can't move and it can't "breathe." Should I instead cover the mattress in the encasement and then put the topper on top with a mattress protector that just has the elastic sides? I know. It will be double protectors. I've never had to cover that many inches of mattress. Thanks for your help!
I just spoke with our protector expert, Katie. She said it could be a good idea to just put the encasement on the mattress and just put sheets over the topper. That should give it some room to breathe.
You might want to try it for one night each way, just to see if it is really affecting the temperature.
Do you think this would work well on my new Big Fig, to add a bit of plushness to the firm mattress? I love the Big Fig, but have gone from a very plush old mattress to a firm one, and it's definitely a big change. :)

As a hot sleeper, can you speak to which feels more cooling: the Saatva Latex or the Graphite? I don't care about anything else - I have a pocket coil mattress that is lovely in every way other than sleeping a bit too hot, and I want to cool it down. I'm happy with firm, soft, whatever.
As I have not tried the Latex model, I can't speak from personal experience. However, in general, latex is going to sleep cooler than any type of memory foam, even those with some type infusion like graphite.

Also, I'm concerned about the edges popping up on the sides like they do in the video. That seems like it would be bothersome when sleeping.
@@aprilgreer6046 To answer your questions, this is the graphite memory foam mattress topper. Also, with the corner straps and underneath a fitted sheet, the edges didn't pop up too much for us.
@@Mattressclarity have you reviewed the latex option from Saatva? I think the latex would be better option for us, but I'm concerned that it's only 1.5" thick. I'm 5'2" 135lbs, but my husband is 6'0" 230lbs. I just don't want him to sink in to it and not get any support.
@@aprilgreer6046 I have not tried the latex topper yet myself. However, I have tried other latex toppers like the Avocado and Birch. Those are a bit thicker than 1.5", and I personally got enough support.
How good is latex toppers
They can be really great! They are usually on the pricier side, but they can add both comfort and support to your mattress.
Marten...your the hottest guy I know, so, this topper doesn't sound like a good fit. ( Although you look perfect.) I just purchased a cool bead infused topper and only after a few minutes laying upon it my whole body that had contact...with several layers of cotton in-between, was sweating...only a few minutes ! I'm a thin built guy so I really didn't think this could happen...but the foam stuff is totally bizarre ! I was wondering if latex would be better...but it sounds like the same thing under a different drag. What are the differences ? And, is there a topper that doesn't cause heat-contact-overload ?

I just got mine and I'm not sure it's for me...its super soft. I love the saatva luxury firm mattress and have had it for a few years and still love it but the topper is too soft I think :/ I wanted to love it. May try a wool topper
