My New Years Resolution is to cut back on the unboxing videos and focusing more on gardening videos. Instructional garden videos and taking field trips to gardens. The most viewed to date has to be the front garden video and this makes me so happy. I can't wait to show you guys what the Colorful Gardener has to show you!

You're right. It's very hard for people who love to garden to keep from buying and ordering plants, especially when you find great sales, free shipping, etc.

Sure is hard not to buy plants! But i do think its good to slow down & really watch how garden is 'settling in' - before next push on!
Tours sound fab! Looking forward to getting to know your garden. Best wishes from Australia( south coast, NSW)🌻☕️

Since becoming an Aged Pensioner it certainly is a challenge not to buy plants (still buying but struggling). Have started to attempt cuttings Have had success on rosemary and sedum but, of course, they are easy. I also have started direct sowing of seeds (cheaper but with mixed results). Now have a lot of self seeders. As an aside have lost a lot of expensive plants which hurts but I suppose that is part of the learning process. Happy New Year.

I have started most of my perennials from seeds. New sub.

Welcome to the channel! And I am starting up 2019 with perennial seeds as well. Just sowed some variegated pokeweek yesterday.
