I'm happy to see OVD get some love! They are my favorite micro brand. Very inventive, and they have a very thorough design. Every little piece is thought through and incorporated into the theme, with seemingly no off the shelf parts except the movement.
Extremely impressed. With a lot of the watch market saturated with cookie-cutter divers, it’s admirable to see a very unique design shine above the rest. The silver, gray, and orange colors play nicely. This one is on my radar for sure!
I really think they missed an opportunity with the bezel it lost functionality at that point for me but you're correct ive never heard of them before and Thanks for bringing them to our attention as always my friend Be well 👍
Thanks Chris for doing a review of an Under Water dive watch. I first saw one of their watch designs (The Aequorea) and completely fell in love with their design language. I had never ordered a kickstarter watch before but I was not disappointed. The crown on mine is also lumed, the bezel, the indices, hands, etc... is all outstanding. I got the one with the Blue PVD bracelet which I had never seen on a watch before and was one of the reasons I got the watch. They have since launched several other dive watches, two of which (Krakener and Swordfisher) are so beautiful but only so much space in my collection for more watches. The Krakener in particular, I love all four colorways and I'm hoping that one day I can get one if there are still any left.
I saw an ad for this kickstarter on Instagram awhile back and thought it was an interesting design. I went to check it out and was blown away by the lume and the unique design. I hee hawed for a couple days and pulled the trigger and joined the campaign. I opted for the blue variant. The orange looked too much like a Doxa Sub 300. The yellow was cool, but too cartoonish for me. The grey one was a bit boring. The blue had a great balance of color and seemed to have the best lume of the 4 options. I can't wait for spring when they start shipping. It's going to be a great summer watch to wear and undoubtedly will be a great conversation piece. Nice review. I'm glad I could see some more of the features and visuals from a video other than from OVD.
I saw it just a couple of days ago in a Kickstarter advert. It's very nice! Like a Doxa SUB 300 made more cute. The green variant is so pretty. I don't even hate the 4:30 date window!
Nice piece. ⌚😎🤙 Agreed; the case appears to be inspired by a Seiko Turtle. The bracelet & end links seem to have been inspired by a Seiko Tuna; i.e. the SUN019.
I really like it. I like to keep a wide array of divers in my collection. I dig the orange dial and the green dial versions. For the price, pretty good deal! The bracelet reminds me of a Seiko Monster bracelet.
I've got an OVD F1 that I got on Kickstarter. I bought it on a lark but it's honestly one of the few Kickstarter projects I participated in that actually lived up to the press! It was really well executed. This watch looks great, but I already have so many NH35 divers, I had to pass. Now, if they'd have stuck a 9015 in there I might have had to hand over the simoleons! ❤
I fall in love in both Aequoera and Seal Diver but pricing is a killer. Title is little bit clickbait as watch cost 385$. When you ad delivery cost and tax it's 500$ which makes me heartbroken as those are really different and beautiful watches...

I get slight Doxa Sub 300 vibes. But it’s cool. Interesting watch. In the dark it looks like a freaking UFO!

I have never seen this brand but I definitely like this piece.
Funky. That would great on an orange rubber strap.
I like it what a refreshing design!

I'm waiting for the Penguin Diver 🐧
Yeah, I like this one. Very funky (in a good way)!
I'm a proud owner of the UW Aequorea Jelly version, you can review themself. They have the most interesting design, not the boring Submariner style
👍👍👍 Nice Watch and Nice Watch Talk 👍👍👍
ooh I like it, this is nice.
Nice watch - case is a Doxa 300 clone which I am very fine with as it’s a classic design. Decent price point as well
Very nice. They have seriously unique looking watches. Thanks for the great review. And you’re right. I like their space watches even more.
I own 2 uws, the aequorea and the krakner. Great watches and the brand owner, Charlie, is a cool guy..
Looks like a fun watch, not sure how much wrist time I would give it.

Love it. The case shape and brushing, the mottled dial, the indices, hand set, everything. Very cool looking. Too bad they’re Kickstarter only.
Nice piece. ⌚😎🤙

That is dope!
I don't know about the seiko turtle but this is definitely definitely doxa sub ascetic from it

That thing is sick …. Hopefully I see it on a what not stream 🤞
Nice watch ever..
What is the weight coming in at? Very nice but looks heavy.
Cool watch. Although I'm not sure why they haven't gotten the memo for female end links by now.

Pretty wild lume for a $300 dollar watch.
Did you hear that Seiko? A $300 dive watch with a sapphire crystal and the bezel lines up.
I believe the $300 is only for Kickstarter.. once they go in mainstrem production retail is $490

Way out mad lume.
It’s called a “cushion case”.
