I'm not sure if you've heard but another channel called "PopularCruising" actually looked at the build schedule for Myer Werft (who built the Dream and Wish class' of ships as well as the Disney Adventure), and found that the large covered dock they've been using for DCL's current ship construction is scheduled to be taken up by ships for other cruise lines. The only ones that would be open for construction of all four of these next ships is apparently a dock site that can only accommodate ships that are about the size of the Magic Class. If that truly is the case, then we know for sure that we will get a brand new class of ships (that will hopefully be named after the first ship in the fleet from the start, and not changed after the fact as the did for the Triton/Wish Class), and hopefully it will not have the same issues that we see with the newest ships in the fleet.
Not wishing for the Wonder & Magic to be retired, but if the ships do have to leave the fleet someday; I hope that new ships will be introduced to some of the ports that have less traffic & maybe could have the possibility of year round sailings; such as San Diego, New York, New Orleans & Galveston… and not just additional ships for Florida & Vancouver. Can’t wait to hear about the future of the four newly announced ships; as well as the ships nearing completion & getting ready to set sail. Loved the recap; thanks Adrian 🥰🙏🏻❤️🥳🚢
I hope with more ships will come more departure ports. I have family in New York so it might be nice to spend a little time with them before and/or after I cruise from the New York Port. It would also be nice to depart from Seattle Washington rather than Vancouver. I have a feeling it would be less expensive (but I don’t know for sure, I may be completely wrong). 🤷🏼♀️
I've wanted to sail since 2020, and they have added so many ships since then! I hope some of the new ones planned are for the Asian fleet otherwise my list for cruises have just gotten so much harder to finish 😅
I actually did no have a problem with the layout of the Triton ships. What I did not like was the placement of the Adults area, I think this area is to small and should be relocated to deck 14 instead. Besides that love how everything sprinkled around.
I agree with everything you said down to the interior of the new ships. We got off the Wish 3 weeks and I hate to say it was the worst DCL we ever been on. I more thing I would like to add about the new ships are the horns!! They are the most horrible sounding things ever. That is one thing we love to hear it the ships horns. The new ones please just don’t play it! Good thing we have another cruise for Christmas to make up for it on the Fantasy in December. Keep up all the great videos.
Hoping they go back to smaller ships like the Nagic with similar layout. They had it right to begin with🤷🏻♀️ The Fantasy is nice but you just can’t do the dinner shows right on bigger ships 🤷🏻♀️ while the wish is pretty, I don’t think it has timeless beauty and classic elegance of smaller ships🤷🏻♀️
Hi 😊, you also forgot about the horn, if Princess can have the same sound across her fleet then Disney should be able to have the same horn as the first 4 ships, it's ridiculous that they don't sound the same and they are difficult to say what song is playing. They need to put back the walking track on deck 4, that's what makes Disney different too, the more traditional look instead of super modern, and bring something more similar to the aqua duck than the aqua mouse, people want water slides, not rides on ships, and real pools lol I mean come on who only wants to have their butt and back wet and not fully be in a pool. We'll that's my opinion about it lol I really don't like the Wish, they are going in different direction with the darker colors in the treasure which makes it more the correct look. I understand changes are needed, but where are you comfortable in sitting in a dining room with barely enough space between the table? Doesn't make sense. Anyways we'll see what they adjusted with the treasure and Destiny from the Wish, and we'll definitely see with the next set of ships
Interesting! No disrespect meant at all, but I LOVE that different ships have different horn sounds, I think that’s one thing that makes it more Disney. I agree that it is a little difficult to figure out what song the horn is based on. I also wish there were more water rides, but in all fairness I love water parks. Again no disrespect to your opinion, it would be boring if everyone had the same opinions. 😊

I’m hoping one of these new ships will be sailing out of New York or Baltimore… This would help out cruisers in the Northeast to get to Pearl status

Disney ships seem to age better than most other cruise lines so I hope the make it to at least 30 and are replaced by smaller Panamax ships
