Kilmarnock
7:53 I like how the Appliance Bay Doors have a Red - Green Light.
Wonderful collection!
Toller Zusammenschnitt!
RIP to that died in grenfell
3:29 the best and most effective siren the LFB ever had, shame the blue beacons were naff strobes though.
It’s old school
Wow awesome compilation! :D

This is beyond brilliant 👌
whats brilliant ?
Ein fantastisches Video.
I love This video . I love LFB
Beautiful Fire Trucks and Ladders. Paris Fire Dept is very late
Ein Zusammenschnitt wie er besser nicht geht! Klasse Aufnahmen!! :-)
Vielen Dank!! :)
Solider Zusammenschnitt :P
Hi man
Very very nice!!
Thank you!! :)
Sehr schön!
Danke Niels!!
6:31 Now we know your face! XD
Sehr schönes video!
Danke Dir!
O Nice
Wie bereits von den anderen gesagt wurde: ein super Zusammenschnitt!
Ony one fire engine in this entire video used its emergency horn. Fire engines where I live use their horns a lot more.
Sehr Geil! Like!
Dankeschön!
Never really understood why the FIU need to respond on blues and two's. Except in the rarest of cases their job comes after the event.
Sometimes its to do with the preservation of evidence. Have to get to the scene quickly in order to do that but you point is well made.
Sehr geil! Dickes Like :O
Danke Dir!
Awesome compilation, good job^^
Thank you!! :)
Some of the intermediate-age fire engines have a sort of purple coloured ELS
Fantastic&
Thank you!
4:40 Islington took a long time to mobilise
Wow! Brilliant compilation mate! Wish us British guys caught all that! 😁😎🚒
Yeah! Just imagine how you won't shut up about it during the days after like you have done with other rare catches ;)
lmfao
They could use some eqb
Such a pity that they seem to have phased out the old two-tone.
Fantastic compilation mate! Can't wait to do some spotting together again!: D
at 6:00 - how did you know they were going out?
FrogFootTV.....Soho used to be the world's busiest "FIRE" station, probably still is. You only have to stand there for half an hour and you'll catch a turnout. I sat and had a few pints in a pub a hundred yards up the road once, and Soho turned out five times in what was about two hours. I think their record for a year was 13,000 calls back in the '80s. Granted, most of them were AFAs and false alarms, but that's still some going!
I've highlighted the word "fire" to remind any American who might get the hump at that stat, that here in the U.K. we have dedicated fire services, and that we leave ambulance work to the ambulance service! Because I can guarantee one of them will to pipe up and say that there's a firehouse in New York that responded ten zillion times last year! Yeah and mostly all medical calls. And as far as I'm concerned they don't count....
I know it is because I record there myself. But he clearly knew they were going out as he started recording before they opened the bays.
FrogFootTV..... oh I see. LFB's mobilisation tone/message ("the bells") is very distinctive, so maybe he just heard it, and pressed record. I've heard the bells going down myself whilst walking past Soho's station. I think it was because the back doors were partly open, as indeed they were in this clip. Happy hunting.
No, it's way too loud to hear anything from inside the fire station. I saw a light going on, then through the doors some rushing firefighters and so we started filming... ;)
What light?
the best 6:25
Are there any Volvo pumps still operational with LFB? Or are they all Mercs now?
There is a spare Volvo Hydraulic Platform used now and then, and I know LFB Cadets used to have a Volvo pumper a while back, but no, pumps on the frontline are all Mercs now.
6:30 Face Reveal!
LOL...
What siren is used by the LFB ? Grettings
The one you hear at 6:44
Or the one at 8:18
It's both of those but the one at 8:18 you can hear clearer
How much water do you carry on the trucks? What is capacity of pumps? Volume and pressure?
I may only answer the first question. Prolly 1800litres. Can spray 5 minutes or so
what does "do not obstruct" mean?
Foxy The Pirate Fox
Basically, do not block the path of.
What year is your fire truck
Dumb question: did the London Fire Brigade ever run/use any apparatus built by a manufacturer from the United States such as American LaFrance, Hann, Mack, LTI, Oren, ect?
Nope, mostly magirus for ladders. Mercedes, scania or man for the trucks.
What did the Turntable hit for it to be violently jolted?? At around 7:05
Appears to be raised speed bumps just before the pedestrian crossing, zoom in and you can see the wheels ride over them, the fire engines in front also bump up and down.
3:52 that is not a fire truck
Thomas Dawson what is it then?
Ur right, its a fire engine or appliance or pump
Never understood the lack of flashing lights on the rigs compared to us in the US. Like do you want to be seen or not?
jaredkelly930
Being from MO, I understand. My pov has more lights than some of the department vehicles.
They have a different set of safety standards. Notice all the NHS logos. That's a board that dictates what's safe and what's not. Too many lights can be "distracting" to other motorists and cause issues.
And as someone that sales/installs lighting on emergency vehicles, it's expensive to outfit a new vehicle. Not the fire engines, those are usually installed at the factory. But the vans and whatnot, you will spend $10,000 outfitting a vehicle with lighting/siren/communications. They save the money, use bare amount of lighting and use the money elsewhere.
jaredkelly930
Oh yeah... and notice their lack of Air Horns on the fire engines. NHS says they're too loud for pedestrians, so most of the trucks don't use them. That's not even a money saving measure...
Less lights, less colors, in a simplistic patten, creates more contrast. Its a long debated subject.
@@bradpatrick3796 NHS is not a safety board at all. NHS stands for National Health Service, which is the healthcare system here in the UK. We use lighting that is effective and not overkill. too much lighting can be dangerous.
The amount of lighting you have in the US is actually counter-productive and becomes dangerous.

0:20 A great message to all illegal immigrants on the side of the fire truck

???
yeah true, no wonder why 400+ people died in grenfell tower because of the stay put policy
Plus all those that were not registered because they were doubled up illegally 400+ They tell us it was only 78 ???
grenfell fire was manslaughter, no smoke alarms, fire alarms, sprinklers, fire doors, fire blankets, fire extinguishers, fire exits, emergency lights, balconies...only 1 staircase in and out with gas pipes fitted near them and their being told to stay put ?
I trust our lads are busy in their gay pride parades.
Sehr schön !
Danke Dir!
