The have lived 29 years in Riverbend. Raised 3 children in Riverbend. Lots of playgrounds- fond memories touring the various both on bike & in car. Terwilligar Dog Park & Riverside nature- huge asset. Years ago- $21 million bridge built from dog park across the river. Can do a loop - crossing back over the river near Fort Edmonton park. Relatively central location- access via Whitemud Drive or Anthony Henday. Few parts of Edmonton are more than 30 minutes away. 15 minutes- WEM, Southgate, downtown. University commute - great for adult kids attending. LRT from Saville Center to U of A now. Assists what in past was University traffic nightmares. For Hockey parents- those main access roads assist for shorter trips. St. Albert
The reason I am watching. Checkin you out. I wonder if I might move to another hood. Only 1 child in the nest now. Yet benders do tend to stay in our big houses once kids move out. Location has so many benefits. Or perhaps start an Air BnB. Haha
@@meowmeowmeow2362 the Duggan area and Duggan Clinic and the Duggan bridge is named after my grandpa Eric Duggan and Kenneth Duggan. Hope next time you do a video you go to Millwoods either near Malcome Tweddle School as there were Town Houses on the field. Or go and show 3920 54th Street. My old house before I moved to Victoria and I so miss Edmonton. My grandparents that lived in Riverbend named June and Alec Hamill and yes my grandpa Alec Hamill had a store where he made men suits and they lived at 1404 51st Ave
