Every time I'm in a bad mood or something bad is going on around me, I just put on Selena's music and I feel so much better afterwards. Selena always came across as a very happy woman and that reflects in lots of her songs. "Dreaming Of You" is my favorite album.
Selena was the first Tejano artist to get a six-figure recording contract. Not too shabby, considering that when she started out, she would sometimes be denied gigs because she was a woman in a genre of music that was very male-dominated at the time. When she was a little girl, her mother made stage lights out of peach cans, and they where evicted from their home and living on Wellfare for a time. Sometimes when they were on the road, they made just enough money to put gas in "Big Bertha", their first old tour bus, to get home, and the bus had no heating, no air conditioning (in Texas!) & no bathroom. The artists out there today have it so easy. Selena endured things they'll never even imagine having to go through.
That makes you wonder if there's more to the story. Did Selena sell her soul and was she a blood sacrifice? Doesn't seem like she would go for that. To be famous in the industry there's more than meets the eye it's dark occult stuff. Maybe she found out things and was pulling away and they didn't want her exposing things so they had her killed and maybe paid Yolanda. Who knows for sure but I think there may be more to the story than what's been presented.

Selena was very well known when she was alive and in 1995. She was a Grammy winning star, she didn’t like to identify herself as a star but she knew she had fans outside of the Latino community while she was alive and that’s why she was talking about making an English album. That was Selena being humble✨💜
She carried herself, spoke and looked a lot older than a 20 something year old- a lot more mature and composed than what you see nowadays - people that same age
