He went to heaven on May 21, 2018 at age 90yrs.

Ever since I watched this one yesterday (over and over) I can't get the song and the video out of my head! ...I was singing it all day today at work....immagining me in the place of those lucky ladies. Can't believe he's gone. I wish I'd discovered his web-sight in time 2 tell him how much joy he brought 2 me.
Leila L I feel the same way. I discovered the website right before his passing but never sent a greeting. When this series came out I was a little girl who went to bed dreaming that Cheyenne was my father. He filled my childhood with hope and joy.

Mary Mitchell You are so right, Clint Walker was born to play Cheyenne Bodie. Not an actor alive, then or now, who could play that part so perfectly. Clint Walker was so much like Cheyenne in real life: calm spirit, humble, caring, honest, kind, fair, respectful, strong and gentle with unwavering integrity. I wish they would colorize this series so we could enjoy his intense blue eyes. Such a handsome man, such a fine human being.
