- In this video I’m am showing you how I made the most shiniest glitter shoe. I love how these came out if you want to be able to do your own pair follow along to this video tutorial, showing you the steps to make your own glitter shoes and how to make them not crack after wearing them.

Thanks for doing that. Also, don’t forget the cotton balls and acetone to prep your shoes and make sure you wear reusable, yellow rubber gloves, to protect your hands.(for extra safety respirator mask for the acetone fumes)

Fire. I would leave the swoosh white. (Personal preference) I use to customize kicks. I might get back into it

Hi buddy . I used mod pod and glitter and after 1 use it started cracking. What did I do wrong
@@lynnragonesi921 did you prep the shoes well, and sand in the high cracking areas , as well as applying in light coats and letting the coats dry completely before the next coat, also another good tip is to wear forces fields with them as well
Hoe do you keep the glue from cracking because I used modge podge on some vapo max and eventually it cracked
I do it in light layers and thin it with a little bit of water but to be honest, I found and easier glue to use for beginners it’s called Art glitter Glue

Hey when you did the last coat, with modge podge water and glitter, did you put an additional coat after or was that the final layer? And about what were measurements of each?

Sorry to bother you again bro but I'm going to try to do this custom. You said to add water to the podge. Do I add water to the podge for the final coat or all of them? What ratio is the podge to water? I just wanna make sure I do it right.

What kind of acetone did you use.
Like nail polish remover with acetone ?
100% acetone you can find a a hardware store , yes you can use nail polish remover. Just make sure it’s 100% acetone. Also make sure you sand the shoe pretty good around the toe box and the side panels where the shoe creases to prevent cracking

My clients been wearing them with no crease so far
I'm thinking he should've used something like Barge glue but... .they are tight to look at like that! For a 1 time wear...the might hold up ok.
Barge glue is a no go it makes it look super clumpy

No they were for a client but I’ll have to just make a personal pair and do a video
These are so 🔥 man! I tried doing a glitter pair of shoes but I used glue instead of mod podge and they cracked on the first wear. I’ll definitely be trying this method.
Dang yeah that glue not so good and make sure you water down the mod podge a bit so it’s not super thick

@@fxckngjules just make sure you thin out the Mod podge with water and do light layers letting them dry completely for 15 min in between layers ✨🙌🏾

No I recommend using E6000+ with a syringe, or glue master thick Visocosity with syringe

Hello just curious… did they crack or crease yet? How are they holding up? I want to make a pair!
Forces are gonna crease if you wear the shoes , to prevent creasing you would want to use force fields when wearing . But these were for a client and he wore them to prom and I haven’t had any complaints yet . I hope this helps

@@stickynation7046 PLEASE DO .... I HAD TO REGLITTER THE SNEAKER , AND TRY OTHER ADHESIVES.. EPOXY , AND E6000..... AND I USED GORILLA GLUE MIX WITH ALL FOUR ...... MOD PODGE , E 6000, EPOXY , WITH THE GORILLA GLUE SPRAY

Do u put the sealer in between coats bro
No when I go back In with the thinned out mod podge it acts as a sealer and in between layers I let it completely dry I wait typically about 13-15 mins between each coat and put a final coat of mod podge and let it dry and than spray the finisher over it and let it dry over night
