She was lucky to get this Chinese weakling as her opponent. She won't win next match playing like this. She too much relies on opponent's unforced errors and you are saying that she is coming back to her best. Her best is crushing Stearns and Yuan easily, she didn't do that. She was inconsistent. She was lucky that Yuan ran out of gas when she served to get the score to 4:5 in the second set. Against Kasatkina such reliability won't work. Kasatkina is great player who reached top 10 multiple times. Emma Raducanu needs to change her coaches and the way how she plays tennis in order to challenge top 10-20 players or to have any hope on winning tournaments.

Emma played quite well until it came time to close out the match. Struggled mightily at 6-4, 5-2…. 5 match points came and went. Eventually it was Yuan who handed her the match on the 7th match point by hitting a simple backhand long. Yuan played well in stretches but she seemed to be carrying an injury which affected her service motion, hence she got broken a lot.
They should have a rule banned players from wearing the same colour outfit. When you watch the long distance shot on a small tablet you don't have a clue which pink outfit is which.

Yes I believe so. Her schedule is very packed for the rest of the year - she's playing in both Asian masters, 250 Hong Kong, another Chinese 250 and another Asian 500 event - so another 5 tournaments in the Asian swing after this one! I can't remember the names of them all.

Very apparanet raducanu has very good skills and has the tools and weapons but needs alot more adjustments and tweaking, most especially mentally, for her to be in seripus contention with the big guns. This works at this level, she barely gets away woth it, but this wont work against the top 12

well that is quite obvious she's only played 4 players in the top 25 this year and 3 of those were the top 3 and she beat one of those in pegula, basically this year she's mostly beat who she should and lost to who she should

You just have to look for the bright white visor which Emma has on but her opponent doesn't.
