      It turns out the "ozone hole" wasn't caused by CFC's after all; CFCs are actually "good for the hole." It is still being damaged by a combination fluoridated toothpaste, chlorinated water, and pasteurized milk. We fired all the old Republican government scientists and now we have science back on track again - trust us - we're now all Democrat scientists - Go Brandon!

      @@emaarredondo-librarian The hole HAD BEEN getting smaller. I have read of atmospheric traces of the banned HFCs being traced to China. So are those overwhelming HFC reductions everywhere else (like China's massive increases in total CO2 emissions are) or is the cause of the hole incorrectly attributed to HFCs?

    I remember being scared to death as a child by the apparent destruction of the "ozone layer". The school and media would really hammer home this unseen terror. It was very disturbing. However, it taught me a valuable lesson as an adult. I dont believe a word that the establishment says and I particularly dont believe in viewing animations as reality or mathematical models as any sort of truth.

    • @EstamosDe
      @EstamosDe Рік тому +2

      It wasnt apparent, it was getting reversed because international measures were succesful, thats why they stoped talking about it
      And this video? You are right, it should be meaningless for you and me because there is no contrast with the hole in the 80s and 90s, how are we suppossed to now if this is mean to be smaller or bigger? I have no idea, of course you dont either, the video doesnt explain anything
      But, the ozone hole was and is very real, Im from Chile and we are next to Antartida and even have part of 'our' territory there, so for us this is school stuff

    • @EstamosDe
      @EstamosDe Рік тому +1

      Maybe you can say Im just believing in them. I can tell you this, in my home city, Santiago, and beaches near it, I could get a really dark skin just because of the sun when kid and teen. I went to the other hemisphere, spain on summer, which gets to warmer temperatures than Santiago (we have sometimes 35 or 37°C while they usually have 40°C). And in spain my skin didnt change at all, I was a whole month there with a temperature I couldnt stand easily because I wasnt used to. And no, the difference in latitude is so small that its not enough to explain it. Yeah, by itself its not proof enough, but its a proof I can present you by first hand.

    On the 3-D model I saw for a brief moment a hole over the North Pole. Why are they not talking about that? Why even as a child they were always talking about the South Pole's ozone layer. What are they not telling us or is this a another scare tactic.

    • @emaarredondo-librarian
      @emaarredondo-librarian Рік тому +1

      Have you considered googling "North pole ozone hole"?
      Chilean here. I did know that there was also an ozone hole over the North pole, and plenty of American articles and news have mentioned it for years - just check it. It's not as worrisome as the Southern one because is way smaller, and not permanent. It comes and goes.
      So. Not because something is not making headlines constantly it means that it never existed - and not everything you happen to notice for the first time is something "they" are using for nefarious purposes.
