wondering if you still have this setup with the sur ron battery i might go and buy a 60v battery but wondering what you did for the wiring all you do is just take the postitve and negative from the crontroller and wire in a d6 supra connector to pug into the battery ? do any other plugs have to be plugged into the battery ?
@@robr8a23dogg6 it will work no problem, the "bypass” process is just bypassing the BMS for a little higher output amperage. Bypassing risks battery health.
@JonnyDuzzit thank you Braddah!! So I can buy a Talaria X4 battery ...I beleive its 60v 40ah... I know someone who is selling it for $300 Barely Used because he is running a 72 volt now... I know that there's a data plug on the battery and the Talaria controller plugs in the battery just like the Surron battery... so should it be just plug and play? Cuz I plan to use it for one of my Roadrunner Pro three of them bought them all cheap from OfferUp LOL
Very nice build 👍😊

Thank you! I’m trying to do the same since my nephew gave me he’s Sur-Ron battery but I don’t know what type of metal to buy to weld the frame lol
Its all mild steel
Hey Johnny will a stock surron battery work out of the box or do you have to bypass the wires?

Did you just plug the battery and Ready to go or did you do any changes to it ?
Plug and play. Most 48v controllers have 63v capacitors so they can take up to a 60v battery.
Thank you so much
How come you're not telling him you got to bypass the battery it won't work out of the box is not Plug and Play come on Johnny Boy
what motor and controller? i have 48v vevor 2000w motor and control combo, will a surron battery work with it??
Vevor 48v 1800w kit
What connector do you use to connect the controller to the surron battery? Or what is that connector plug called
D6 supra

What problems are you having?
Where did you get the tapperd tubing?
What tapered tubing?
At 8:15 in the video you pointed out how it tapers down. I wish I seen how you did that so I can learn!
