I do RC plane chases with my DJI FPV drone. I like it just fine. But it tops out at about 85 miles an hour. I'm looking at this drone as a replacement for the higher end chases. I only judge by 2 things. Speed and endurance. Can the 5,6, or 7 do speeds in excess of 85 and maintain them for a flight time over 4 minutes?
Hi great review! I’m trying to decide between this and a chimera for chasing boats. I didn’t see you talk about the range for different battery options. On iflights website it recommends a 6s 1400(8 min flight) and also a 6s 4000 lion but doesn’t say the flight time with the lion. Can you point me in the right direction for some info on flight time efficiency using different batteries? Thanks
It's great that every company is now making drones and frames compatible with the O3 Air Unit. I prefer this front end, looks better. That new cinewhoop looks like a clone of the Avata, ahah I love the LED lights on the arm, looks very good. The added heatsink is a nice addition, makes it more reliable. The drone appears to fly great, it is a great 6 inch drone, flies fast and it is good for the fast cinematic videos near the ground. Awesome review Albert.
3:11 can you change the color of the leds? I’m thinking about getting this quad but I already have 2 other green iFlight drones.. I was thinking about printing all the tpu parts in blue or something but it would be cool to then make the leds shine blue
Ha, I have it the other way round. I have the previous Evogue as a 6" Deadcat (because I already had a 5" Nazgul) and just ordered the V2 as a 5" Deadcat. But I love both my 5" and 6" and I am looking forward to the new 5" with the O3! When I saw them on their website, there weren't any reviews out yet... so thanks for doing one now!
I'm super interested in any smaller options with the O3 in it. Yes the O3 is a bit heavier than what you can get with (naked) vistas, but the fact that you can get actually useable HD footage from the O3 and dont have to carry anything extra makes it appealing to me. And i just like smaller drones in general, i feel like O3 in a 3-3.5in size would be a great fit. I'd be curious what iflight and similar can come up with in that area.
Same here. I mentioned it in my O3 review but this is the reason it will be a game changer. No more need for naked GoPros unless you're doing professional work. The O3 4K footage is really good enough for most people.
I just saw that. Not cheap. The 03 is adding a hefty price to existing BNF quads. It's nice, no question about that. The evoke is a nice looking quad. It always has been and each rendition seems to be a slight improvement over the previous version. Great video. That for the rundown on this 6 inch quad. Great Video from the 03 Air Unit. Footage looks "crisp." Thank-you for this quick detailed review.
@@AlbertKimTV great to hear, thanks! Will you be doing a review on the iflight BOB57 in the future by any chance? Super curious how that compares to the F6
Really haveing trouble deciding between this and the geprc mark5 that just came with the new 03air unit! Mark5 may breathe abit better to keep cooler! Very neat drone! thanks for showing us!
I’m new to fpv so I’m probably comparing apples to oranges! But I don’t have a freestyle quad in my fleet yet! Or a long range drone! Be nice to find the best of both worlds in one! I’ll just keep watching and learning! Thanks again!
@@dubsrcfpvandfamilyfuntimes913 I just saw another video on the Mark5 version and it will show a lot of props in the recorded video so I wouldn't recommend that one. I'd get the iFlight F5 or F6 O3 version.
Albert what happens to us who bought the DJI goggles V1 just one week before V2 was released??? Totally forgotten like not exist? They could release one 03 unit working only 5.8ghz only maybe and with other rx tx would be fine right? But this won't happen i guess... :(
Wasn’t that like almost 2 years ago? I guess buy a new set of goggles. Not trying to be negative but this is tech and tech spoils like milk very quickly. I’ve got a graveyard of goggles from my 7 years in the hobby
I find it intresting that they didny ship it with gps included because as far as i can tell, most nazgul evoque f5 ships standard with gps. A 6 inch quad like this probably suits better with gps than a 5 inch, but again just my opinion. Thanks for the review Albert!
There's several different versions of this model so you'll have to find the dump for your specific setup at the iFlight support page... here's a link... iflightrc.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/48001148115-firmware-wiring-factory-dumps

The front cage looks nice, good to see so many new 03AU quads, frames coming out so quickly. 03AU DVR quality looks so nice. Great review Albert.
Thanks for watching!
Awesome flying and review, Albert! 😃
Pretty nice quad indeed!

That sounds like fun. But I doubt it could Chase a jet the way a drone could.

6:25 planning on flying it with the dji controller 2.. wonder if they will put dual band antennas on it for people flying with the dji controller
I hope Iflight will eventually sell a front cage replacement for existing Evoque frame, instead of the whole frame.
3:11 can you change the color of the leds?

You can change LED color in betaflight. Use it to show battery health, warnings or a fixed color.
This BNF looks clean from Iflight. I don't have a 6 inch quad but if I do more long range I would get one of these.
Hey Albert, not sure if I understand you correctly but the original 03 air unit cover I received in box does or doesn’t need to be used?
Doesn't have to be used

Can I bind radiomaster tx16s mark ii elrs version with this drone ? And how
I am using RC2 for Nazgul F6D DJI O3.. disconnection occurred at short range.. anyone experiencing the same?
Any update ?

Yeah, all the O3 BNF's will be pricey... can't be helped since the O3 costs about $50 more than the old system for retailers.
Good morning Albert. Great review of a well thought out quad. Was curious about potential overheating due to the side plates, heat sink, cool 👍💙😎

Depends on the radio setup you have. ELRS has been known to go as far as 30KM on a plane.
