it looks like a problem because of overheating, your gpu or the controller chip maybe need a reballing ( just in case that your screen isnt faulty)

Same problem. Screen had a yellow tint on the top right side and finally it went all pink green. Then I did'nt use the laptop for like 2 weeks now the screen is back to the yellow tint but still usable
I think @Djengo is right about overheating because the laptop was making alot of noise and i do play hardware intensive games

If you're out of warranty like I was, try disabling the intel graphics in device manager and see if that fixes it. It worked for me.

you have to reconnect the screen cable, located behind the screen

I was having this problem for like 3/4 days and then it fixed without doing anything and its like 2 months that i have no problem..this is very strange

i have the same problem so i am using an other monitor so that i can use my laptop so i dont think there is a problem with the gpu...i tried reconecting the wires when i opened the laptop but it didnt help...please if someone fixed it tell me how :)

Better not to buy Lenovo Ideapad Y50-70, I change laptop. They did not fixed fully and bad Lenovo Services.

Have anybody fixed this yet? I had this problem about 2 months ago and then it fixed itself. And now, here I am again looking for a fix because obviously, it reoccurred.
