This was made from 4 inch PVC for rats. I suppose you could make it out a smaller PVC if you only making it for mice. Also let me know that I used a wire because I didn’t have a really long screw for the bait. I saw another video where the guy used a really long screw but he had to then drill holes through the bait which is messy and toxic mess so I decided to just use a wire which I think is a little cleaner. Update the rats climbed up and eat all the bait at once, so I suggest using a smaller top pipe inside the one shown with a small cut away to access the bait. They only need a little 😂
