Worked a treat, even between pc & anbernic! Just have to be careful entering those IP addresses. Retroarch couldnt of made it any more difficult could they? 😂
Can this be done on RetroArch on an iPhone connected to a RG35XX? (non-SP, just the plain RG35XX is what I have) Oh, and for Red, Blue, Yellow versions are the only ones I play so would it work for them?
so close to being god tier. Way to complicated for my nieces. If there was a way to set this up once for every rom and then you don't have to touch them then I'd do that for Christmas. Really want them to have the opportunity to enjoy the old awesome games for the GBA, SNES and NES. So many games that I know they could fight over for hours, so if I get them one each... it has potential of making me the greatest of uncles...
Thank for this detailed video. I already own a Plus model. Nice to see that trade and battle works between the Plus, H and the SP. I have always read that it only works with the same RetroArch version. This doesn't seem to be the case. Are you on latest stockOS for both devices?
8:05 you said there was something wrong with your SP? What do you mean by that and how could you fix it? I’m having the same problem with mine and husband’s rg35xx+

At first it was not working. It was stuck after both games accepted to make a group to trade. They were not entering the room. Then i tried to connect through the phone access point and it worked no problem. I think the ports used by retroarch are closed on my router. I hope this can help somebody. Also, my RG35XX plus wifi is weak and slow, but on the H it is snapy and fast.
Sorry if this is a dumb question. When you go through the steps for remote wifi, does this mean you can potentially play with someone in a completely different location than you? I assume you still need to enter the IP address for the host console?
hey, I got the Plus and the SP, but on my plus there somehow are no core options, just regluar options. I cannot find the GBA connectivity tab there :( any help?
@@Stallone217 I think I found the answer. You gotta manually update your firmware to a newer / the newest version of the OS. My Plus doesn't have the core options, it is also the device with the outdated OS. So I guess that`s it. Hope it helps

Can you trade with a Miyoo Mini Plus? Assuming same core and rom, would the difference in firmware between Garlic and Onion OS make it impossible?

Is there any known fix for the SP crashing glitch? Mine keeps disconnecting like in your video :/
