Reno just got done breaking a bunch of heat records since the beginning of July, including the longest streak of days of 105°F or higher. We didn't break the all-time record of 108°F but came disputably close on a few of the days of the last 3 weeks.
Im expecting some sort lf severe weather in the Midwest, supercell composite it high, not just that but the cape, dew point, and so Om thinking maybe another derecho for that region.
I'm wondering if the current solar maximum along with the intense solar flares above us have anything to do with the current rise in temperature? Now add that to the 6k degree core underneath us, and it would seem the heat is not that bad.
Since solar flares don't reach our livable atmosphere (thanks to our magnetic core) they don't impact our weather. And, since the earth's crust separates us from the intense heat of the mantle we aren't impacted by it either. However, dig down about 10k ft and it'll be quite warm (90+degrees) year round. Go geothermal energy!
I did but away my generator but however i almost needed to get it out because I thought for sure the power would go but I ended up being lucky back in the month of June or maybe it was May I don’t remember
In 1934 we reached -53 degrees F here in Northern Michigan. These days we rarely get below zero temps since our artic polar vortex has dwindled down to almost non-existent.
I dreamed new clear war hit us and it blew the ridge of high pressure out of the sky forever. One of the most awesome dreams I ever had. It got extremely windy & the rapture happened too.
@@SmarteeeSteve you'll likely see that wish with storms breaking the Cap around Labor Day this year. Nice hot summer and then a nice cold winter in the central to southern US.
Thanks for the heads-up POW.

Nothing is getting through the ridge.
@@BryanLasko It will go over the ridge, Common sense.
I agree.

Wish the 100+ temps would stay away from TX. It's been nice having some cooler temps this summer.

Been great non-summer weather in central Texas, probably going to pay of it in August.
When are you going to release a fall forecast ?
❤❤❤❤
Nothing like the 1930s
Because of agriculture practices…I.e. climate change today
