- Somewhere in the South Pacific, Noumea, New Caledonia is one of the fastest growing cities in both industry and tourism. Join Allie Connell as she explores Noumea in the somewhat silence of a Segway and aboard the Disney-ride-gone-wrong Tchou Tchou train.
Not just American forces were sent to New Caledonia during WW2.The 3rd New Zealand division was stationed there in 1942/43.There is a NZ war cemetery at Bourail. And also the graves of, and a memorial to the Pacific Island soldiers who died.
This was by far my favorite place on Spirits regular itinerary.

NC is a french territory..this only adds to its exotic appeal. For menu selections try google translate. Also..it should be a crime to go to NC and not snorkel

Noumea is the capital of New Caledonia, not an Island of New Caledonia. 0:04 Good video though.

@@titehena8278 oh really ? Cagou birds are in freedom in Blue River Park (Parc de la Rivière Bleue) at around 50 kms from Nouméa near the road going to Yate in the south east coast of main island...
But i am surprised you didn't have seen in the Parc Forestier in Nouméa because you even have showed an Australian bird...

In NC my favorite island is Lifou and the south of Ouvéa semi atoll is wonderful. Did you have eaten Coconut crab ?? It's so delicious !!!

@@titehena8278 if you go in Central n South America, you have to speak Spanish or Portugaise, in North and West Africa, there are plenty of countries who speak french (even Chinese business men have to learn it), and in East of Africa Madagascar, Mayotte, Réunion island and in Mauritius both english n french, etc...

I come here to listen the real american english like this. My country Indonesia is neighboard of Australia but australian english isnt clear as american. So young indonesians tend to learn american english on the movies, tv shows, or youtube like this hahaha

@@miloraca The environment in Hawaii is extremely clean and pure. There are no condoms on the beach. It has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. I doubt you have ever been there. It is expensive of course, like the rest of America you need to have rich money.
