Thank you for this video! such a great recourse to educate others on unconscious bias. Short, sweet, and to the point!
Speaking of implicit bias, did you notice that the "dangerous" image was a person holding a gun and the only image that was colored black? You definitely need to be aware of your own biases. One important practice, especially if you are going to be releasing media on this topic, is to have someone (preferably people who tend to be the targets of harmful bias like Black and Brown people, women, differently abled, other religions, etc.), review your work prior to its release. This can catch mistakes like these and also help you to further develop in this area.
It's colored in black to represent danger, not race or ethnicity.
@@dorindadavis8536 That is racist
Hes saying that the black figure has to be BLACK HIMSELF/African and also people don't like black ppl and bc their skin colours and their actions example black ppl be holding guns out here also the blue figure is African 0:53 the woman with the deformed body that is UNDOUBTFULLY RACIST!
@@Jezsomebushyreverence Or maybe you are just overthinking this and it's just a fucking color?
@@Jezsomebushyreverence mentioning this associations shows bias in itself. Didn't even think or notice this until you mentioned it.
Great video! Thanks!
Thanks to help me learn more things, and I’m a student in first grade.
conscious and unconscious bias is most interesting never understood it the way it was explained
Interesting that in a film about unconscious bias the dangerous figure holding the gun is black.
Quite educating piece.
The unconcious bias video has a huge bias at the get go - why is the protagonist of the video a white male?
Is it possible to create more unconscious bias while claiming to care about it? Yes.
what time does it explain what a bias is?
Really good and thank you so much
Hi - I'd love to be able to use this for a workplace workshop and to show to students in my OB classes with explicit attribution to yourself - would this be ok?
Very happy you like it! Contact ben.clarke@hemsleyfraser.com for usage or licensing requests.

Unfortunately there was bias demonstrated in this video by the character with a gun being the only black figure in your presentation :(
I didn't identify the character as having a race....but you did?.....hmm
You chose the shading of images. So you decided the colour not me. Even in your first person sketch you established colour
Time for Change New generation love newlifestyle and FREEDOM with full Q Quality for all not greedy people i dont like THEM

Talk about unconscious bias! The only black figure at 0:53 is holding a weapon. Smh!!
That person is not black. That person is simply shaded in to represent danger.
RACIST DONT MIND MY kEYBOARD IS TRASH AND MY GRAMMAR BC I LIVE FAR IN THE CARRIBEAN
Everything you claimed here is a myth.
I am going to consciously and intentionally block this channel and dislike this video.
