Smelled the Absolu a few days ago... Oh boy. I am not by any stretch of the imagination an expert on fragrances, call me someone that is interested in it and is building a small collection, but that stuff... Magic. Jumped right up into the Top 3 of my favorite Scents I have smelled so far.
Got a bottle of Absolu the other day....wow!! Its absolutely stunning. The longevity is incredible, it has basically stained my jacket (not that I'm complaining 😅)

I don't think his goal is to be super revolutionary with his videos. I'm sure there's an audience who just want to see content period from him. Easily likable guy who is very knowlegable of fragrances. Great setup, great video quality and editing. He has an steady audience who doesn't really demand anything too much other than content just for the content. There's only so much you could do with fragrance videos.
BB Absolu is definitely a love or hate scent based on the comments. I am one who really enjoys it and have gotten compliments the 3 times I've worn it. It's a newer addition for me and i have a lot of scents i cycle through but i own it and enjoy it.
@Mike-1000 not to my nose, but that doesn't mean it won't to you. I can say that if I smell something sweet (invictus type) and then smell absolu, it has a weird opening. If I smell absolu by itself or after a shower, I get a beautiful smooth suede type smell with apple and spices, on complete dry down I get a very interesting similarity to Layton. To me, it's almost like taking parts of Carlisle, Layton and boss bottled intense, and throwing in a touch of leather. Hard to describe, but that's as close as I can get so far.
I think I just found a monster stack for the winter. I had just left the gym but left my gym bag which had my Boss Bottled Absolu in it. My clothes already had the cologne on it but I haven’t sprayed in a few hours. When I got home I sprayed Uomo Signature . That combo is something else

Surely you can see that from just the titles alone ... 10 must own fragrances, 15 of the most complimented blah blah. A lot of the youtubers do it, where there is money concerned - there are some deceptions. 👍
Scandal Absolu a little too juvenile for me. I have a sample of the parfum en route. Hopefully that fits a little better. But nothing is topping Boss Bottled Absolu this year. Recently had my nose on Eau dOmbre Leather for the first time - digging that too.
I have Paradise Garden and Energy myself. I also think Superleggera should’ve been on this list. Big complement puller for me. I have boss bottled absolu coming in the mail, looking forward to that. Also 67 is great stuff have a buddy that has that.
Didn't like polo67 when I sprayed it in store think i said ewew but got a sample in and it's great. I don't know what was wrong with that tester bottle 😂
