I've used snail mucin for the past 3 months and it is the only product that cleared my skin and minimize my pores I use it with all in one cream all together
Cleaner - Toner - Serums (thinnest to thickest) - spot treatment before toner for big blemishes after serums for small ones - moisturizer - Facial oil I think the snail mucin would be a serum but just check on the bottle
I've been using this for a few years...the cream 92. My husband suffers from seborrheic dermatitis and nothing seemed to help him on the long run. Until one day he had run out of the lotion the dermatologists told him to use...so i gave him some of mine. Ohhhh, boy, he right away felt amazing and kept using it for a few days.. his skin has been better than ever and no dermatitis so far. He's been using it for 1 year now and loves it. He says he will never stop using it.
wow thanks for this!!!!! Seriously! My dermatologist cost $400 to see him ad he prescribed me with a dermatitis cream too. Doesnt even work! I dabbed some lime on my face and my dermatitis is GONE. Ive not had smooth skin in years. But lime is pretty acidic...it was the only thing that worked though. Always dilute and wash off though remember :) so angry we spend so much of our hard earned money when the answer is right there in front of us I feel! Ill remember your comment if it ever comes back
@anyaashcroft1944 I know, right??? This cream is amazing and so lightweight. I hope your dermatitis stays clear, but if it comes back, try it for a couple of days, and please let me know how it works for you.
@ankitasweetheart I normally won't apply another moisturizer after this. This alone is very moisturizing. Although during winter time, I do like to alternate this with another thicker lotion. I would recommend to let it absorb into your skin, just for a minute or 2, before applying something else.
I use the essence with the moisturizer, and beauty of joseon's sunscreen. I have said bye bye to foundation or bb creams, and have gone make up free ever since.
I noticed positive results immediately after applying it for the first time and right away bought 2 more bottles of this. I’ve never been able to say that about any face product before.

i started using this 2 and a half months ago, my skin has never looked better! i don't usually have pimples or bumps unless i am on my period but for my past two cycles not ONE pimple has popped up. i think it's because of the snail mucin. at night, i use it after cleansing, then use my retinol cream, then moisturizer. in the morning, i just rinse my face with water and add a bit of the snail mucin near my mouth area since that area tends to shed from dryness in the winter. i follow it up with sunscreen and do my usual makeup routine. the reason i dont put it on my whole face in the morning is because i seem to look too dewy (super oily honestly lol) but this mucin really does work. my skin has also gotten a lot softer.

I love corsx snail mucin. I think it is one of the best skincare out there. But my face hate moisturizer, since I live in humid place and i'm oily face type. I must drop it because it feel so heavy, prone to got those 1 or 2 bumpsand, makes my face more oily, hence the wonder of it make to my face. But,... It before I starting use vit c, retinol and tret. Now my face not so oily anymore, and i know how to use and how much moisturizer that work best to me. Once I finished up my free sample leneige and innisfree hyaluronic acid. Gonna catch those bottle!
Ok, I have a bunch of questions lol thanks for taking the time to read this and possibly answer what you can. Here we go… How do we know which brands are real or are using the proper amount in their products? What is the percentage of snail goop that is safe and affective? So we use this every day? What are the main benefits of it and do they harm the snails when getting their goop? If they are then I could never use this or any product if they hurt creatures. Is it safe to use with retinol, tretinoin, vitamin c serum, or anything like that? Or better yet, what not to use with it? Does it clog pores or cause breakouts with sensitive skin? Can it be overused? Does it ever expire in products?
I just purchased this and I believe it isn’t living up to its hype as much. It sure is hydrating, but it makes my skin feel oily, even in areas where my skin is dry in nature to boot with (I have combination skin: oily T-Zone and rest dry). My T-zone, as expected, looks like it was slathered with oil. Is there a way to make this work better for me? It’s winter season, so I thought this would help me achieve that healthy glow that people reported getting after using this, but I wonder if this was a waste. I truly had high expectations :(
the same for me TT i used it so long ago, i have a T-zone oily combination skin the same like you and it makes my whole face feels slimy and no i did not overuse it
Is the glycolic acid content enough to warrant the extra caution we give to other AHA exfoliating products? Like avoiding using it together at the same time as retinoids and making extra extra sure to apply and reapply spf?
I love it! I use it right after I wash my face ever night while my skin is still damp then wait 5 min and apply Cerave body and face lotion. Please tell us more 🤗
Use the Cosrx Snail Mucin Essence after washing - it can replace toner - but I use a toner anyway which I love. Then apply thicker serums, moisturizer then sunscreen. If using Actives ( Tretinoin, Vit C, Azelaic acid, retinol, try putting these on 15 mins after the Cosrx Snail Mucin Essence - ie let it dry to avoid irritation from Actives - then follow with your moisturizer Be sure to use the Retinol in PM, the Vit C in Am . But as Dr Idriss states :” You know your skin- if your skin can handle an AHA or Azelaic acid before the Retinol/ Tretinoin … then that’s ok. In Summary- the Cosrx Snail Mucin Essence can replace a toner or be used after toner, but before Actives and before moisturizer.SEE COSRX WEBSITE FOR COMPLETE LISTING OF ORDER OF STEPS FOR EACH PRODUCT 😘
Please! I use Tretinoin and Cosrx Snail Mucin, but afraid to combine them. Can snail mucin be treated as a buffer or is it actually enforcing the absorption of Tret?
My skin is rosacea prone so while things with glycolic acid make my face look nice at first, the more I use it the worse my skin looks over time, it’s just too sensitive. Now I see why this serum was irritating my face a few weeks into using it. I could not figure out why something hydrating was doing this but now it makes sense. It is a nice product though, so I guess I’ll give my bottle to a friend.
When I was a kid and living in Spain my grandmother told me of an old wives tale (so I thought) how to get rid of warts. Had one on my el ow and it was really bothering me. She said get a large small, put it on the wart and let the secretions seep in. Then take the snail and put it in the wall at the beach. When the snail does the wart will be gone. As a kid of course you’re going to listen to grandma. So I did it. Wart fell off! There is something about snail Mucin that really works!
My six yr old gets terrible eczema all over her back, stomach and butt and inside elbows, during the winter. I have to slather on layers of different thick creams that are specifically formulated to treat eczema, everyday in winter and they help if I stay on top of it and she also does oatmeal baths from aveeno. Anyway, one day I thought to try the snail mucin from cosrx, since I already had it for myself and it works so well at healing and hydrating her skin. I definitely recommend if you or your child has persistent and hard to treat eczema, I’m surprised no one had mentioned trying it on this skin issue but it works wonderfully. I apply a layer of the snail mucin first and than whatever thick cream I have on hand (eucerin, aveeno, etc) on top. I tried slugging with Vaseline prior and it helped but not like the snail mucin.
Yes!! Please teach us to incorporate in our skincare routine. I am unsure what step this is and what and what not to mix with snail mucin. Thank you for all your knowledge 💗 ✨
It goes with everything. Your skincare should be thinnest to thickest products. Like I use a toner, vitamin C, serums, snail mucin, then moisturizer (if you need it).
Yes...please inform. Even though it's an essence.....I feel like because of its thickness, products used after, would have a really hard time penatrating into the skin. I own it....but don't use often for that reason.

I use the very same snail mucin and it has significantly improved how my skin both feels and looks. I will be using it for the rest of forever. I was worried that it would break me out because I have sensitive and acne prone skin. Nope. Game changer.
Yes let me know how to incorporate this! I feel like I am doing it wrong. My nightly routine is Paul’s choice AHA gel exfoliate, retinol (differin), that snail mucin, water and vegetable glycerin mist, aveeno oat gel moisturizer, triple paste Also am I doing too much? Lmao
I was always intrigued by it but now thinking about it, i would like to know how this mucin is gathered. Is it synthectically made or are anails actually involved, if yes i would rather not harm snails for their mucin.
Hmmm,I've been using it for a month now and i can't say it made a huge difference in my skin. I am an aesthetician and i know how to incorporated it in my routine. I am going to finish the bottle but let's say i don't expect any major changes .

I watched almost all of her videos, Im not totally sure but I think that worked for me. I have normal to dry skin. In the morning I wash my face with water, then vitamin C with ascorbic acid, the serum for eye darkness, snail mucin, moisturizer and sunscreen. At night either I use retinol or gylcolic acid after cleaning my face, eye serum, snail mucin and moisturizer. 🤷♀️
The snails are treated well, but I understand some people don’t want to use it. There is one dupe that I know of for snail mucin. Mixsoon Bean Essence. It’s sticker then snail mucin though, and has the same texture but thicker. I don’t really care for it. Some people love it though.
I'm using this properly on clean damp skin and still my skin gets dry when it gets absorbed also my skin getting darker after started using it. P.s. my morning routine: cleanser_snail mucin_moisturiser_sunscreen Night time routine: double cleanse_snail mucin_2% niacinamide serum_moisturiser

I’ve been using this since learning about it from living in Japan many Japanese women use Korean skin care products and this is so popular. I also find it heals burns and soothes skin too better than aloe!

Please! I use Tretinoin and Cosrx Snail Mucin, but afraid to combine them. Can snail mucin be treated as a buffer or is it actually enforcing the absorption of Tret?
I wanna know this too
I think it's not a good idea because Snail mucin has glycolic acid, which is an exfoliant. And tretinoin on top of that can be a bit harsh.
It may increase penetration of tret but the glycolic acid in it is not enough to great further irritation
Maybe use your snail mucin in the morning and tretinoin at night
I use my snail moisturizer to buffer with Tret, and no issues so far. Just make sure to let the snail absorb really well before applying your tret. 🙂

I use this together with tretinoin.. That duo helped me fade my acne marks❤
It’s unbelievable ❤❤❤love it and use it morning and night. I’m allergic to mold and someone said you shouldn’t use it well I’m not sneezing or having a asthma attack with this Essence of snail mucinex. Thank You again. Julie ❤️💚💙😻🐾🐾
I just got this and am still a little scared to try it cause of all the mixed reviews but am determined to give it a shot 😅 I would love to watch your tips and tricks on how to use it properly ❤
I'd love to try it, but I still haven't gotten over the ick factor.
I have it and trying to like it, but it’s disgusting
I have been using it in the mornings and evenings for the past two years after knowing all these benefits .❤
Yes please ! I love this product
1. Cleanser 2. Damp skin -Apply Snail Mucin. 3. Apply moisturizer. 4. Apply sunscreen
I use the very same snail mucin and it has significantly improved how my skin both feels and looks. I will be using it for the rest of forever. I was worried that it would break me out because I have sensitive and acne prone skin. Nope. Game changer.
Please how do we should incorporate this in a skincare routine? Is it suitable for combination/oily skin? 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Doc,can you please tell the right way to put it and things that we should keep in mind, esp for acne prone skin
I just got that exact bottle today so yes please! I’d love to learn as much as I can! Much love & light! ❤🧿
Yes let me know how to incorporate this! I feel like I am doing it wrong. My nightly routine is Paul’s choice AHA gel exfoliate, retinol (differin), that snail mucin, water and vegetable glycerin mist, aveeno oat gel moisturizer, triple paste
Also am I doing too much? Lmao
Yes please, especially given the glycolic acid in it and how potent it actually is❤
I was always intrigued by it but now thinking about it, i would like to know how this mucin is gathered. Is it synthectically made or are anails actually involved, if yes i would rather not harm snails for their mucin.
Cruelty..... But I like you Doctor.... Thank you for all of the skin care tips....
Yeah please.....bcoz if i use any active my skin shows breakout and acne bumps
Hmmm,I've been using it for a month now and i can't say it made a huge difference in my skin.
I am an aesthetician and i know how to incorporated it in my routine.
I am going to finish the bottle but let's say i don't expect any major changes .
Yes please! Love getting true knowledge from you!
Yes please make a video!
Especially if it can be used for mature acne prone skin? When using adapaline, different types of retinoid, retinol, glicolic ......
Please!?😅❤
Absolutely can be used with any other skincare.
When should you use it, day or night?
Any time works
Yes please!! I have that exact bottle but I'm afraid I may be using it wrong or at least not exactly the way I should be. Thank you. Btw your channel is so helpful, I really appreciate all the great advice from a board certified derm . 😊
I'm actually starting (a bit late) to take care of myself and my skin because of your info. ❤
Yes! I have 2 products but not sure how to incorporate into my routine.
I would love if you could do more Korean skincare! ❤
Yes, I want to know more please
Please talk about it! I've been using snail mucin for years, this cosrx one is a staple in korean skincare although nowadays there are better ones
Yes please, and maybe cruelty free snail mucin dupes
The snails are treated well, but I understand some people don’t want to use it. There is one dupe that I know of for snail mucin. Mixsoon Bean Essence. It’s sticker then snail mucin though, and has the same texture but thicker. I don’t really care for it. Some people love it though.
Yes please. I have the facial wash, moisturizer and the serum.
Yes, please! I just don't know when and how to use the product as part of my skincare routine.
I have it but used it twice as i'm not sure about it lol so please do make a video on how to use it ❤️ and Thank you gorgeous!!
Yes please I would like to learn more because I use it and I put on other serums with it not sure if I’m using it correctly
I love snail mucin
Yes please! I use it and would love to know if I’m using it right or could be using it better. Thank you.
Yes, please!
Thanks 😊
I'm using this properly on clean damp skin and still my skin gets dry when it gets absorbed also my skin getting darker after started using it.
P.s. my morning routine: cleanser_snail mucin_moisturiser_sunscreen
Night time routine: double cleanse_snail mucin_2% niacinamide serum_moisturiser
Finally got this for the first time from Prime Day sale! Feel a bit iffy about the ethics of how they might extract this stuff from snails tho 🐌 haven’t tried it yet but will soon. Seen many dermatologists recommend!
Most definitely. I have 2 unopened bottles.
So, is snail mucin made up of those things naturally or is it added? I like single ingredient things like coconut oil. Just curious. 😊
I love this product❤
Yes please
So cool cosrx❤
Yes please! I do not understand the benefits. Is it just hydrating? Does it do more? What about aging great? Happy Easter!
Yes we want to know how to incorporate it into our day or night 🌙 routine.. thanks please
I’ve been using this since learning about it from living in Japan many Japanese women use Korean skin care products and this is so popular. I also find it heals burns and soothes skin too better than aloe!
What's the best way to use it??
I've been using it for several months but can't decide if I should apply first or on top of my other topicals.
Also, how do you feel about it being used with perioral dermatitis?
I absolutely love this stuff, my skin is so buttery and soft!! All time favorite easy product. 🫶🏼
