It would be nice for us to be able to actually encourage and vote on fundamental changes to cards. Tweaking numbers sounds great and all but I'm worried the game will become stale rather quickly if that's all the impact us as a community are left with. I really adore this game and I'd like it to last and flourish for as long as possible. I appreciate all the hard working and passionate devs out there who love this game as much as we do!
This unfortunately sounds like it wouldn't be possible. If the community would be voting on the changes, there would still be a need for design team in CDPR, inventing those possible changes. And at that point, it's way better to just implement them based on their testing and their experience, not based on community vote. Because truth to be told, while 90% of the Gwent community thinks they could do the balancing better, it's very naive. For example, if you asked the community right now what card is OP, most of the players would probably say that they want Reavers nerfed. But the thing is, if you look at the top level, Reavers are nowhere to be seen. An average player cannot distinguish between annoying and overpowered. Because while Reavers are pretty awkward card design-wise and aren't enjoyable to face, they're simply not OP. This is obviously only one of many instances where the community involvement simply wouldn't work and could contribute to Gwent's death and abandonment rather than eternal flourish and growth.
Couldn't make it today, but that was great! Thank you both for your work ❤️ Oh, and if someone wants to start organizing community tournaments, I'd be glad to help in any way I can! :)
@@Midelioss Are you suggesting game development doesn't involve just changing the 'text' in the print command of a card and cannot be done in 5 minutes while sitting on a toilet? Impossible, you must be mistaken.
@@SVOKRAplays One employee would be enough for card design. I bet there's an opensource passion project out there where one dev does a lot more than this.
Please do not block our account, we are also victims. The merchants who exploit game vulnerabilities are those who charge us for overseas recharge. Many of us are unaware when we look for merchants to recharge. All of us who have been banned are players who have been following and loving this game. I think we deserve a chance.
I completely disagree about your stance on some cards being too convoluted. The more complicated it is to maximize the potential of a card, the more satisfaction we get from mastering it and it encourages players to play more since repetitiveness is reduced due to the time necessary to master a deck. Besides, it is always great to see or to create a new plan of play that you did not see before.
I dont get this line of thinking either if you want cards to be simple and for decks to perform well after little to no time investment what's the long term appeal? I for one didn't mind Dagon as a card and it's effect when it came out the effect really isn't all that complicated especially looking back now. Sometimes it takes time to fully understand a card and the niche uses it has but that's not always a bad thing.
If these guys genuinely cared about this beautiful game they would have promoted it beyond what they did. Witcher 3 next Gen and Netflix Witcher were perfect opportunities for Gwent to skyrocket and have a few million players. They created a wonderful game only to lose out to lesser games like Marvel Snap. The market is definitely there as Warhammer have joined now. Hearts is still going with all its problems. So, it's fair to say CDPR have been negligent with Gwent. Gwent should have a long term future, massive following and huge Esports. 🤷🏻♂️.
It's not up to them to decide how much money is going to the marketing for the game. It's understandable the studio has some long term plans and they assess the situation to reflect those. As much as it saddens me, Gwent is most probably not as successful as the studio executives hoped and therefore in the long run they move the resources elsewhere. That's how businesses work.
@@SVOKRAplays A studio like CDProject could afford to run a niche customer goodwill project such as Gwent even if they just break even or lose a bit of money on that specific project. It's sad that probably myopic and clueless executives have the last word.
Before sunset, I would love to see a Gallery in the main menu, where all the amazing artworks are stored.
Thank you, Gwent team! For everything.
Dude the deck builder. At least on mobile you can see them full screen.
Love gwent, the art of the cards is cool and i love spending time looking at the cards on my free time

Thanks guys for the continued efforts !!

I love Vlad’s haircut

Hell yeah! I took a little break from gwent (for about 3 years) and the game has evolved massively since then, and I am eager to play more.
Revert back time of Draft's timer to 60 seconds before Gwentfinty.
why i can connect my Facebook account to access my Gwent account
For The love of God. where is Essie Daven For NR Faction Man?
Please give us 1 employee, who would be able to change the card's abilities in Gwentfinity
The assumption that 1 employee is enough is mistaken I think.

@@Midelioss Do you think CDPR hasn't created a set of tools that can manipulate existing mechanics on existing cards and make changes?

He ist worth to play gwent again? Or is the game going to die 2023?
There will be one more card drop as far as I know I'd def. say it's worth playing
@@leech8561 thx buddying for letting me know

Good job balancing gwent, the market share reflects your effort.
