- One person has died and three others are in hospital following a shooting at a home in the Woodbridge area in Vaughan.
York Regional Police said it happened around 9:30 a.m. at a home on Casa Nova Drive, near Davos Road, in the area of Major MacKenzie Drive and Weston Road.
One person was transported with life-threatening injuries, while two others were transported with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries after being found inside the home, police said.

Lily Monroe was irresponsible and had no foresight.
We can respect multiculture, but at the same time we must respect and preserve Canadian’s value, culture and its identity. All new comers should be required to integrate into the Canadian mainstream and contribute to society. For those who don’t want to integrate and don’t respect Canadian values , Government should not let them in.
Just look at what has Canada become now, it is so sad .

I don’t think Canadians were consulted 40 years. We need a common culture. Western culture with all of its flaws is superior to cultures of South Asia. People immigrated here because our system is better run and more fair than anything in their home countries.
