Man, I remember when The Web Store's only physical brick-and-mortar presence was a tiny hole in the wall with two guys in there who would sell you a video card and some RAM. I think they *only* sold computer components at the time. Then they started carrying some energy drinks and snacks.. and some gadgets.. and some other small hobbyist electronics..

You probably figured this out already 'cause you have been perfecting your editor skills before releasing the video, but singles' day is originally from China, Finns don't really celebrated it. It's just an other way for companies to try to make consumers buy more stuff. It's the same thing here with Black Friday. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving but the companies want to milk money out of us consumers with Black Friday sales. Anyways, good chill video. :)

You know I had actually forgotten to ask anyone about it, so thank you! I assumed it was basically another day to sell stuff, but didn’t know it came from China. Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it! :)

I don't mind them. Predictable discount days are convenient in a sense that you know when it happens and thus don't waste your time waiting for good offers week after week. This is of course assuming you aren't in a hurry or you happen to need something right in november. I got my new laptop from Verkkokauppa's Singles' Day sale and half of my desktop PC's components from Black Friday discounts. The discounts in Finland aren't anything like in the USA, where people are willing to die for them, literally, but it's still better than paying the full Finnish prices.
