In this short guide, I will show you how I execute my favourite rush strategy: The Horsemen Rush. Quick, efficient and deadly, it incapacitates your enemy, can land you a precious villager kill and even a bounty, making it pay itself off. I truly believe this is the way the mongols were meant to be played.
This build order is not effective against the following civilizations:
1. English - the base is too well defended, they will not keep villagers on gold
2. Abbasid, Ayyubid - military wing counters horsemen
3. Rus - uses no gold, has a tight base.
4. HRE - Emergency Repairs won't give bounty
BUT
1. English - they might send longbowmen and you can intercept them
2. Two archers or mangudai can kill the spearmen easily, forcing him to produce more military
3. Goes for stone, Horsemen can harass the miners
4. Attacking the mining camp will force him off gold.

The point is to send them to gold and delay it as much as you can. If he builds a tower, then you can't do anything about it, but it's 100 resources for 120, so it's alright.

It's after this game that I found out about panoramic view, after checking a replay of an FFA and seeing the "panoramic view" of someone who was maphacking. I was shocked to find out that I was playing the game wrong for two yeaars hahah
