did anyone else who played this game when they were young think this game was scary? I did. it was spooky and I was so scared to get anywhere after the lighthouse
Holy shit yeah i'd call my parents through for some levels cos they were too scary for me hahaha- especially Velma's one- Dark and stormy knight i think it was called
I could never get the last monster token though in this game. Beat the game, got all the secrets except for that ONE monster token! The fucking Caveman! Edit: My comment promoted me to look for a guide....HOW THE FUCK WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT!
This is nostalgia at its finest. I played this a ton when I was 10 when it first came out. I always had to get help from my uncle to beat it. I miss my childhood. :(
I know right 😂 man I always used to ask my dad or momma to help but then I Knew what to do some how I figured out how to read the stuff it was talking about at the age of 3 or 4
Me too.. well i wasn't freaked out but i always had that feeling that i couldn't explain back then like if somenthing would scare me at any moment and i that feeling would get bigger near that green diver suit guy he was always my favorite but i always where like if i don't move anything but my fingers he won't scare me
Ghost Of Nova's Past And now i remembered that i would get really scared at those flying platfors at the hedge maze (I would always think it was a cemetry LOL) but mainly because of the sound it makes
Killulikeaboss2 don't laugh but when I was like four I first played the game and went the route to get the ram helm. Then I got back to the starting area and thought I beat the game and haven't played since
These comments really make the nostalgia stronger. I remember mocking the weird noises the monsters make like the witch doctor and that one dude with a tribal mask.
This was my childhood game. Never got close to beating it(got stuck in a tall room with carpets in the manor and outside a slope with agate.) didnt get the GUM. but I fucking loved this game. I remember the fireworks once. I woke my parents to tell them.(I got up at seven on the weekends to play this game. now I get up at half ten.)
Beat the game several times to 100%. Still have it on PS2, but I haven't played it in a while. Right now I'm trying to design all the levels on Minecraft.
i loved this game it brings back so many memories. i always used to watch my cousin play it in my room when we were younger and i'd sneak play it when ever he went to the bathroom or got something to eat. we borrowed it from the library and kept it for a few extra days and that was fun! it was right around the fall time so it gave us a really good feel. i don't know if that makes much sense but it felt good back then.
I just wanna thank you for posting this... I never got to finish it as a kid and lost the disc, I can now relive my childhood, and finally see the ending so I can die in peace
Absolute nostalgia trip!! Loved this game as a kid! Couldn’t ever seem to figure out how to save my progress so played from the beginning every time! 🤦♂️ But I miss those days! 😢
holy shit man i just got the biggest sence of nostalgia from this game. i rememer playing this when i was like 6 or 7 till i was 13. god i loved this game
Thinking back, this was one of the hardest video games I played as a child haha; things actually got really spooky. One of the scariest parts for me was that level at the Pier where you are in some sort of cave and all of a sudden the water starts rising. Scared the hell out of me lmaooo
Anyone remember that one level where you had to jump through the cove on those sinking islands of mud that led you up to this one spot where the ram helmet was and it was hard as fuck to get to? God i miss old ps2 games
I remember it snowing on christmas or fireworks on the fourth of july in the hub and playground. This game was amazing for it's time. I loved it so much. I didn't beat it for years though because i would always get scared of the monsters XD
Feels like I played this in another life time, that's how long it's been since I've been on it. Probably rotting in a bin somewhere. Has to be at least 10 years since I've touched it.
I was like 5 and my mom was 21 and she would always play this game on the ps2 it sad nobody knows what happened to it I'm bout to buy another ps2 and copy of this game and I'm sure finding the game is gonna be fun😂😭😭
Omg so many memories this was one of my favorite ps2 games(besides,Dog's Life ,Burnout Dominator ,Madagascar, Bully, Crash Bandicoot nitro cart,) and some others that I can't remember the names of lol.
I always got stuck on some part involving the mystery machine and a jumping puzzle... Don't know why though, but I'm gonna watch though to see what I got stuck on
I still have my PS2 and only a select few games, this being one of them. It's my second copy of it since the first one was played soo much it didn't work anymore. Haven't played it in many years...maybe this weekend(;
First game I ever played on the PS2, my dad took us to Blockbusters to rent this game. Also fun fact for this game, if you changed the calendar of the ps2 to specific holidays, the theme will change of this game.

Looking back at this game over 7 years after I last played it. I can't see why I was so freaked out by this game.
Me too.. well i wasn't freaked out but i always had that feeling that i couldn't explain back then like if somenthing would scare me at any moment and i that feeling would get bigger near that green diver suit guy he was always my favorite but i always where like if i don't move anything but my fingers he won't scare me
Killulikeaboss2 Looking back, I still remember that really spoopy vibe that it has.
