    What this guy did was disgusting and inexcusable, but it’s really sad to know that he didn’t stand a chance so early after he was born. I grew up with extreme emotional, physical, & sexual abuse & spent a good bit of time in foster care & I’m not a serial killer, hence why I said what he’s done is absolutely inexcusable. But I truly do understand the anger in his heart. Everyone that was supposed intervene and make a difference failed him. Which is so sad because if just ONE person, only one was there for him emotionally it most likely would have made a world of difference
    Edit:.. I’ve said it in multiple comments (including the original) but it seems like some people are skimming over what I’ve written and are looking for an argument. I am absolutely not making an excuse for his mans behavior! Personally, I believe he deserved way more of a punishment than he got. What I AM saying is that I truly wish someone in his life tried to intervene and make a difference. If they did, these innocent people possibly could have been saved. If you read through my comments I’ve explained how I can relate to his anger and resentment, but his actions were his choice, a choice he had control over. Which is why I said his actions are inexcusable! I’m fully aware he knew right from wrong and I am in no way justifying that whatsoever! The moral of this story is to always be kind to everyone because you never know what kind of difference you will make ❤️
    I hope everyone has a blessed day 💜

      I don’t think a lack of love makes a murderer on its own. I think it was largely due to his own choices and actions and addictions he himself chose. I’d say he had a sad childhood but it wasn’t even tragic or particularly damaging outside of emotional neglect which is, don’t get me wrong, terrible but like… comparing him to other cases if that is his cause for what he did it’s not even close to what the majority of other serial killers went through as kids and young adults to break their mental to that point. Murder is the worst crime imo and emotional neglect is not a strong enough thing to go through to make it there

    • @Kushufy
      @Kushufy 2 роки тому +4

      @@pree76 Idk why it matters. People are a combination of genetics and environment, there's nothing else that can even theoretically influence what someone does, and you don't have control either way. Even if people were somehow born evil, which doesnt really make sense unless you are talking very casually and intuitively, that's just as sad as people being made evil by other people. When you get mad at people for being evil you are just coping with the cruelty of the universe and pretending people can control what happens in it

    • @pree76
      @pree76 2 роки тому

      @@Kushufy People very much can control what happens on this planet, actually we have more influence than any other species by far. To suggest everything is out of our control especially CHOICES we make is absurd. People can simply make horrible, wrong, good, and interesting choices and believe it or not there is sometimes where neither environment or genetics don’t play a part. Getting hurt, having damage done to the brain, accidents that happen I wouldn’t really call the environment shaping you. That’s more so in reference to gaining morals, ideas, ways of speaking etc from those around whether it’s through just normal things or something like trauma. I think for the most part people are the accumulation of their genetics and environment but this persons genetics not environment really predicted the outcome because at the end of the day we have free will. We can simply choose to do the wrong thing no matter what we were taught or if our parents were good people or not.

    • @Kushufy
      @Kushufy 2 роки тому

      @@pree76 You're asserting things without explaining how they can be true. Free will makes no sense, even theoretically. We have literally known this for thousands of years. There's two proposed ways something can be caused to happen, deterministically (as a reaction to something else) or randomly (for no reason whatsoever). No person on earth has ever been able to explain any third mechanism, and all theoretical science views the world either through determinism or randomness. If you think you're more intelligent than quantum scientists and somehow knows about something not a single one of them can understand, you are schizophrenic.

You can say others had it worse which is true but you’re acting like the neglect that happened to him and others is ok because there are “worse” things out there. And yes, people are born with that just like they can be born with other brain conditions (something mostly regarded as positive for example: being highly gifted in math) or the condition can be caused by certain areas of the brain being damaged when sustaining a head injury/having a tumor etc.
      There are plenty of psychopaths who grew up in perfectly normal homes who showed psychopathic behavior very early on and even started to kill as children.
      And yes, the thought that you could have a child that is just born evil is very scary. But it happens (thankfully pretty rarely). just a reminder for those people watching who don't know alot about HIV, there are treatments to prevent HIV from being transmitted or progressing nowadays, and many people with HIV are living normal lives. The info in this video - the concept of HIV being a death sentence - is an artifact of the time period these murders happened in and when Thierry was diagnosed.

    His parents were horrible.....but I do feel people have the right to give up a child and not be a parent. I feel it shouldn't be looked down apon as much as it is now, people should be able to give a child up for adoption or whatever. Being forced into parenthood is eht causes bad parents vs " oh! We are having a child. Not planned but cool!".....if someone fr don't want to be a parent ..Orting yourself apon them or forcing the kid on them only makes bad parents. It's not the child's fault I'm not saying that I'm just saying, as sad as it may sound ...if someone doesn't want to be a parent. Don't force it .

    Not excusing him at all because what he did was awful and horrible - and going after old ladies and beating them, torturing them and killing them so brutally like that? Like damn dude.
    But on the other side I wonder what would have happened if he had had the more important people care and be accepting and supportive of him. :/ Maybe he would of still turned out to be this serial killer. Maybe not. Who knows. :/
    I'm glad this other dude won't get out either.
    EDIT:
    I'm not excusing this dude. Like no.
    My trail of thought was more in a different universe, world, reality, would he still have been a serial killer if XYZ had happened. Or was this dude just born a serial killer? That's what I meant. Hopefully this makes better sense. 😭
