I wonder if they know this is a cover of the band Chicago? That is the magic of L&F... look at the backstory... it is amazing how this talented group of "friends" even got together to get our attention.
The greatest cover band on Earth! Chicago, Earth Wind and Fire, Steely Dan, Tower of Power, they are incredibly gifted and soulful.
Just saw them in concert two weeks ago (minus the strings) and they were just incredible!! They are every bit as good live as in studio.

Singing lead here is Serge Tiagnyriadno. Leonid & Friends version of "Peter Cetera." Sadly unlike all the others he resides in Kiev, Ukrane so because of the war he's no longer touring with the band. His replacement is very good, but many of us hope to see Serge back touring with the band someday.
We’ve been fans of Leonoid & Friends for several years and we’ve seen them live twice in Kansas City. Another extraordinary part of their performances is understanding that these are all Russian citizens. Most speak no, or very little English. And yet listen to the very clear English clarity of each word that they sing. No, or very little accent even! They are a truly amazing group!!!

Fun fact - this actually was one of their earlier recordings but it got pulled from UA-cam for at least a year and a half, apparently for copyright issues. One day it just magically reappeared. If not for that it would almost certainly have as many views as Beginnings.
You have seen various people playing brass in other videos but the 3 guys playing in this video are the ones who have been touring with L&F across the US since they started around 5 years ago.
Yes, the first song L&F did was "Brand New Love Affair", which Leonid did as a birthday present to himself after he "retired". I imagine he has busier in retirement than he ever was when he was "working". They have been releasing videos and touring non-stop ever since that first video.
Also, the flute player has never sung a lead vocal so far as I know. I suspect you are thinking of Leonid who sang Wishing You Were Here. He was playing bass and the "bass piano?" on this one.
Another fun fact. Leonid's son Roman acts as the bands manager when they are touring. In the performances I was able to attend he always introduced the band.

😁😁FYI Leonid is not 72. He turns 69 in November 9 days before I do. Notwithstanding that, he is amazing at all he does.
As of today November 13th, 2023 Leonid is 69 years old. His 69th birthday was November 6th.

This guy normally did lead but he is no longer with the band. He’s went back home to be with his family in Ukraine when the war started. The guitarist is no longer with them either.
Everything is changing for the better. This is evolution.
