The T-rex is one of the most powerful animals I can think of. The titan is a 9-10 tons, 40ft long 14ft tall carnivorous apex. With the eyesight of a hawk, sense of smell of a blood hound and a bone crushing bite of 14000 psi and a possible IQ of a baboon is terrifying but amazing at the same time. Truly fantastic!

It's funny how many times they tried to dethrone the King since the '90s.

It's hard to put into words the sheer majesty of the Rex. Literally the most powerful land predator species to exist in the ENTIRE history of planet Earth. That's a title so incredible it's hard to even imagine .. it's made even more shocking when you look at how long it took for each Rex to reach full maturity. Surely, most of them died before adulthood so the fully grown Rex had to be an absolute killing machine

Mr Dino your channel is unbelievably amazing... I was wondering if you had a video on the land mass of North America when it was split in two parts with a inland sea. About 250 million years ago. Do you have anything on these two land masses and the plants.

Remember when T.rex vs Spinosaurus was actually debate? Lol sailboi would get one shot with new estimates but Spinosaurus is still really cool.

#1 0:00 That music in the background is from the 1994 DK Documentary EYEWITNESS. Yet in slight slow motion. #2 Tyrannosaurus Rex is the most popular Dinosaur in both North America & in the world. I like T.Rex & most of its kin AKA Related Species. Wait that dueling dinosaurs find, I thought they said that Tyrannosaur with the Triceratops was Nanotyrannus? 9:17 I have seen this recent Illustration, I hope it’ll be published in a Hardcover book soon. 10:22 (Gasp) That illustration, I saw it on that A to Z Dinosaur book when I was kid back in 1998 & where I was 1st introduced to the Pygmy Tyrant.

Thank you for this! It sums up rex history very descriptively yet very succinctly. I love that image of rex at 12:05 by Julio Lacerda. Beautiful!
On another note- will you be narrating more dino (or maybe even any prehistoric animal) horror short stories in the new year?

About the mid sized predators, Acheroraptor is now thought to be Deinonychus-sized, much like the Asian Adasaurus.
