Wii version is still the best, in my opinion. Mainly because of the bouncy bridge, the better half-pipe curves, and the circular path that the wigglers follow.
I absoultely love this remake. my only issue with it is probably the removed iron mesh bridge? Its kinda weird they got rid of it but I can live without it tho honestly
Man the way everyone was talking about 8D Maple Treeway, I was expecting much worse. If the half-pipe was done better I'd say it's as faithful as it can be without removing the glider section and putting the bouncy net back in.
Comparing 7:19 to 15:49 you can clearly see its a port from tour, as your kart in Mario kart 8 doesn't go directly through that gap it gos through the leaves
8 deluxe actually looks phenomenal. Sure there’s the lime grass, but everything else looks really good. The track is almost the same but it’s still cool
To be honest I don’t get why people love the bouncy bridge so much sure I am a mario kart wii kid and can be bias at times but I don’t get why people love a net bridge so much I prefer flying 😭
I would have liked the 8 deluxe version a lot more if it had the same level of detail as the rest of the mario kart 8 tracks. I also don't like that the rest of the tracks in the cup are terrible with even lower detail. They have almost no textures at all and just look really plain. I mean, just look at the London track or at Rock Rock Mountain...

@@hectord3013 nah im talking babout the track im on 1080p at least there are textures considering the trainwreck that was the first wave, but big untextured offenders are the grass and the top of the tree, which is either just green or rely on only bumpmapping
Yeah, in visuals. The track isn’t ruined. Mario Kart tracks don’t need to look hyper realistic to be fun, they just need to look decent and I think Treeway does. Graphics do NOT make a game fun, especially Mario Kart.
