Looks good, for your future Frankie, don't use the smallest lines when you go to red... on Eddie's original he used black automotive pinstripes and removed them weeks prior to red.

Before you did it black, did you sand it? Did you remove the finish? I am seeing the paint come off and bleed when I pull off the painters tape.

Nice work, I've built a Frankenstrat also. As long as you are willing to take your time and not rush the process anyone can build and paint one.

awesome but one detail is the small stripes are pinstripe tape an he pulled it off before red currently building a franky and just learned this too

Quick question as I’m in the process of doing my replica now. How did you approach the relic process? Why did you relic before you applied the red coat?

You probably know this, but the red/white/black guitar is the SAME guitar as the black/white one from VH1. There were several years for that guitar to get worn before Eddie added the red paint. You can notice this on the original and that's why I relic'd it 2 times.
