That's nice. We just started doing no gi and I am getting killed on the bottom. Guy's slicing through my defenses. I used to use the instep trick but stopped doing it.
Ed McGuigan there must be a reason why Rafel Mendes stopped playing z guard and Someone line Keenan dominated Craig passing his guards many times. I like Criag's style thus practice his style from time to time tho
Hey John. My problem is that my defense is posited on grips, clamping and friction and they all went out the window when faced with a sweaty guy in shorts and a short sleeve gi top who is 30 years younger than me ( literally not hyperbolically ). I just have to re-tool and get tooled while I go about it.
