My heart was breaking for the 2 mares that got the last act of kindness. Especially the one with the broken pelvis........ She should have been put down when that happened right away. The way the horses have been treated is totally 100% inexcusable! These auctions should be ashamed of themselves for allowing livestock to be brought in to be sold in that condition! That poor mare could barely walk and was in so much pain. I get more and more disgusted with people and their greediness, it's truly sickening
Maybe the reason some auctions are reluctant to allow filming is because they allow some animals to be suffering and in such poor shape.Many States require laws to help auctions to be more responsible but the laws are not enforced.If the public saw what was happening at the auctions the laws would be finally enforced! Like Big Lick if laws are not enforced unscrupulous people will not follow them and the animals pay the price with their suffering.

Everyone knows where these horses will end at and the pain they will have to go through to get to their end destination, it's so wrong. The auction should force people into having the poor horses put out of their misery on the spot. How can they turn a blind eye on all the sick and injured horses brought in. I live in Germany and you just don't see it here, people get big fines and are banned from keeping any animals and depending on how serious the abuse is, they can also be sent to jail. I can't understand why in a country like America they don't have laws to protect animals. Shame on the goverment.
I 100% agree the owner should have put that poor mare down immediately. No knowing how long she suffered for before being taken to auction to screw the last few $$$$ out of her suffering. Shameful and I wonder sometime if those people even have a heart at all to do such things.

Tawnee, the reason they don't want to be filmed is because they don't want people to see the horses they allow to go through there!!! Also could be the state of the pens in bad condition, or their greed causes overcrowding of their pens!
Another wonderful episode - I LOVE Rhett such a gorgeous boy and he seemed a great fit for the guy who adopted him. Jenna you are such a natural in every way, beautiful inside and out. The two vets are amazing ( nice to see doc in this episode). Lydia's compassion for the horses made me cry - that kind of love is just what they need even if it is just before the last act of kindness. SO glad Horse plus rescued those 6 horses they all needed it so badly. Kory looks great with his new summer haircut :D
They don't comment on videos here very often but they answer loads of questions from the chat during a livestream, especially Jason on his UA-cam livestreams. I think they will answer and interact more with comments on Facebook and, depending on how much she is multitasking, during FB livestreams. So maybe more likely to get an answer during the package openings vs the auction assessments when she is focused on the horses. But if u just have a private donation question go ahead and contact them directly about it, I bet they will respond.
I absolutely love your Vet, Lydia. Her empathy is so great it’s palpable, she’s precious. I pray she stays with you because boy would she have huge shoes to fill. I absolutely love the technical evaluations, each one is so detailed that they could be used as fundraisers. I get so angry that people think it’s ok to take mares like the one with the fractured hip to auction. What kind of people are they, they don’t deserve horses if they can’t do right by them instead of wanting to make a quick buck. Believe me, I’m holding back on the language because this is a family channel but if I came face to face with the owner, they’d know about it. So heartbreaking. Just FYI Dr Lydia is a VET; not a tech! That's why she is as detailed as she is; which I also love! She is a great teacher! Jenna is their vet tech (& a rather terrific one at that!). Those two sweet, sweet mares broke my heart when I saw them; so happy that they were able to be given the last act of kindness! They were just so very sad yet so very sweet. Thank you for all that you do.

The covert auction horses needed Horse Plus SO much. And Dr. Young. I loved watching her while assessing the mess she was presented with. Those two horses were given a gift of Last Act of Kindness. I felt so bad for them and was happy Dr Lydia took control to help them. Even if Jenna wore her sorrow. Laughed out loud a long time.

It would be great to have a cattle type loading situation where there was no jumping in or out just a walk off sometimes I think some of the really weaker going end up with a fracture coming in a dreadful state. I do understand its all money .Your all just TOTALLY amazing .!!

Wait... giving money to an action that abuses horses like this so that they can buy in more abused horses to sell. "Let's make money on abused horses" I understand you want to help horses, but if they don't want you to take pohotos or videos, it's a red sign. "Don't film how we further abuse these horses." like, okay.... Can't you have contacts with animal rescues, police and other places where you open up your doors for abused horses without risking to give money to the wrong people?
A thought comes to my mind that those kill byers must be damaging those horses on the way to the auction. And why do i think that far to many blind horses lately and ingered horses as well say nothing to ones starving and dehydrated. No wonder you good people are not aloud to film.,or mention anything.???
I saw an interview with a kill buyer once where he said if a horse acts up a lot in a trailer heading to slaughter they will put their eye out to cause pain whereby the animal will be suffering and stay quiet.This is the inhumanity of some kill buyers and slaughter shippers.

I have to thank you all for what you do. I wish so badly that I could help. I did rescue a horse for my daughter a few years ago. Since then I have been through 3 brain annurism surgeries, chronic delayed urticaria that was disabling. Found out not long after that I had stage 4 inoperable lung cancer. No worries because I have been In remission for the last 7 years. Doc is surprised along with me! Just goes to show how mericles can happen.!! I know you and your organization can do this for these unfortunate horses. I am a big believer and know You and your Husband can Save Th3se Precious Horses. From Slaughter!!!!!! I wish so badly that I could contribute. I live on 920.00 monthly. I want to thank you and your husband for what you do. My favorite days was with my daughter when we helped a senior horse.

A small recommend!!!! If your horse is dehydrated, drop down any type of fruit that is ok for horses to eat in the water bucket or any other item you use to fill up whit water, the horse will automatically drink from it! You can also use apple juice to pure in to the water that will help a lot!!! Tho i don’t recommend any other juice cuz I saw this tip on TikTok and she just mentioned apple juice no more but fruits or apple juice, I hope this tip works!!!!!

I understand you want to help horses, but if they don't want you to take pohotos or videos, it's a red sign. "Don't film how we further abuse these horses." like, okay....
Can't you have contacts with animal rescues, police and other places where you open up your doors for abused horses without risking to give money to the wrong people?
They're paying slaughter prices. If they don't, the kill buyers will. It's no skin off their butts who buys the horse, they get their money regardless

A thought comes to my mind that those kill byers must be damaging those horses on the way to the auction. And why do i think that far to many blind horses lately and ingered horses as well say nothing to ones starving and dehydrated. No wonder you good people are not aloud to film.,or mention anything.???
I saw an interview with a kill buyer once where he said if a horse acts up a lot in a trailer heading to slaughter they will put their eye out to cause pain whereby the animal will be suffering and stay quiet.This is the inhumanity of some kill buyers and slaughter shippers.

I have to thank you all for what you do. I wish so badly that I could help. I did rescue a horse for my daughter a few years ago. Since then I have been through 3 brain annurism surgeries, chronic delayed urticaria that was disabling. Found out not long after that I had stage 4 inoperable lung cancer. No worries because I have been In remission for the last 7 years. Doc is surprised along with me! Just goes to show how mericles can happen.!! I know you and your organization can do this for these unfortunate horses. I am a big believer and know You and your Husband can Save Th3se Precious Horses. From Slaughter!!!!!! I wish so badly that I could contribute. I live on 920.00 monthly. I want to thank you and your husband for what you do. My favorite days was with my daughter when we helped a senior horse.

A small recommend!!!! If your horse is dehydrated, drop down any type of fruit that is ok for horses to eat in the water bucket or any other item you use to fill up whit water, the horse will automatically drink from it! You can also use apple juice to pure in to the water that will help a lot!!! Tho i don’t recommend any other juice cuz I saw this tip on TikTok and she just mentioned apple juice no more but fruits or apple juice, I hope this tip works!!!!!
