As a newbie to the acting industry it has been tough my first year. Not too many auditions for Asian American men, but I'm gonna keep at it. "Enjoy the process" really spoke to me, because often times auditions are super stressful because they mean so much to me, but I never really stop to enjoy the whole experience - which might be holding me back as well. I met Tzi Ma in the actual Chinatown of Los Angeles last month. He stopped into Lien Hoa, which is a Chinese deli. He came in to buy fermented bean curd, or fu yui. I told him that he did a good job in Mulan.

@@Anonymouscpa2 There's ethnic insular communities all over America where kids grow up only speaking Spanish or Cantonese or German or whatever, and they end up having to learn English as a second language in public schools even though they're American born and raised.
