  • Brenda Hartill, with the help of her printer Nicola Jackson, shows how to ink up a Collagraph plate, from the Primeval Land series. This work was constructed using plant material, plaster, glue, and carborundum, and Brenda's special method of inking "the rubs"is shown.

    Thank you Brenda for these wonderful demos on how one would use your process. I have your book but nothing like seeing the real thing in action. Also great job Nicola!

    That's wonderful Brenda. I've just added your blog to my reader. I looked at your website and your work is fantastic! I love the colour and texture of your prints and your paintings. I will watch for the DVD.

    I love these videos, and I wish I could see more. Your work is amazing, and these little tips and methods are so inspiring. Your book is one of the most ink-stained objects in my studio. :)

    Brenda again I really love these demos. I am the guy from North Carolina, USA, with the bad back. We have communicated in the past. Looking forward to your new DVD. I have a question if you please. The binder or white pasty looking stuff that you use to adhere the plant material, what is it?? I have your book and if I recall you use a variety of things, such as PVC, mat medium and so on. Just curious. Thank you and keep these coming, I have saved them in "MY Favorites".
