    Another great video like yesterdays. This one seems to be so clear. What a magnificent day. Clear blue skies! I noticed that there was some ice, but especially on the sides of the run, like most runs, lots of good snow to ski. I always tried to ski the sides because the snow would accumulate there...Thanks for a beautiful run!

    I have no idea how you manage to stay completely balanced in these difficult runs. I’m a beginner skier and whenever I turn on a steep slope my feet somehow travel faster than the rest of my body 😭 I watch your videos as an inspiration

    I absolutely love Val d'Isere, I travel there every year and it is absolutely brilliant. I would advise anyone to go there, especially those who want to step up the difficulty of the ski resort and challenge themselves. My personal tip would be to ski in the Bellevarde (Olympic) in the morning and then go to Solais in the afternoon.

    Love seeing your skiing improve so much. No more flat skis! Traveling in arcs. Obvious body dynamics. Nice narrow stance facilitates balance transfer. You are so much safer now. To yourself and others. Next step is to add some complimentary upper body skills to go along with your flexing and tipping. Look into counterbalance and counteracting (aka “angulation”) for your upper body which will greatly enhance your tipping and edging skills. Next step is full carving of the skis on appropriate terrain. What have you been doing so far to improve so much?

    Hello, great vid. Can you please tell me what modes/settings do you use for your gopro hero 10? I have that camera too, but it just freezed because of cold weather and it turned off automatically (I was using Wide + 4k + 120fps) what fps was this recorded on? And also, how do you implemented that speed, altitude and other graphs in the video? Is it exported from some mobile/watch app?

    • @Alexskiing
      @Alexskiing  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Dominik, that's quite a few question's are you using GoPro battery's or batteries from another manufacturer?

      @@dominikjanac683 no worries your all good. So it could be any number of GoPro glitches. Are you using a memory card that can handle the bitrate of 120fps at 4k?

    • @dominikjanac683
      @dominikjanac683 2 роки тому

      @@Alexskiing Yes I do, its very good SD card by sandisk, 512gb. I guess that problem is overheating in cold weather, so it just Turns off camera, i will try to record on 60 fps, anyway 4k at 120fps is draining battery really fast.

    • @Alexskiing
      @Alexskiing  2 роки тому +1

      It's very unlikely to be freezing because of cold weather. The GoPro hero 10 can glitch with large memory cards. To combat this record for at least 15 seconds if it's going to fail it will happen near the start of the recording. The other issue might be the temp of the battery when you start recording. Keep the battery you are going to use close to your body in a pocket. When you are about to film put it in the camera. If it is an overheating issue make sure you have updated the firmware as there was a patch for some of these problems in January. Also if you are not using slow motion 4k 120 FPS is pointless because very few screens can handle it and media platforms compress to 60 FPS anyway. Hope this helps.

    Your skiing mate: It's pretty decent for a "tourist" but as a ski-instructor I have to say this, you are not skiing correctly, as you are pretty much skidding on every turn you make. Skis are named carving skis because you are supposed to carve a turn not skid a turn. I advise you to take some courses with proper instructors if you want to elevate your skiing to the next level, and not ski like ..... a tourist
