I had the same sock machine as yours. I couldn’t ever get a good fit and same as you I never could figure out the rubber. So I sold the machine last October.
That’s unfortunate. At least you were able to find a buyer, these machines are in high demand! I have found a good fit with some trial and error, though I definitely messed this sock up!

Deborah, you are brilliant. 😊 Question: what is a trunk show?
A typical trunk show is when a vendor brings a selection of their products to a boutique or shop for a special in-shop showing for the store’s customers (the items used to be carried in a trunk, thus the name). This is typically for a few hours or full day only, like a pop-up shop.
If I had a super power it would be instantaneous travel and I would come spend the day in your brilliance. 😍
